My souces tell me that Robbo may well NOT be on Stephen Thompsons radar at Tanadice. Correct! But they have applied. Every club has budgets & financial problems - these may well dictate who gets ANY job at ANY club! Being on ?100k less a year may make him the better option, while not the number one choice or best coach.

Have applied for the united job. Robbo as manager, Wilson as number 2. Although I know its 100% correct I've posted it on the rumour forum. They could be a good shout to replace Butcher & dour malpas when they get the chop if they get overlooked for the unite job.

Has applied & been interviewed for the top job at ICT. So I take it he was on their short list?? My source is good but I've put it on the Rumour Mill board to save the Mods from doing it later :thumb04:

When Alex Smith was in charge of United, before a Rangers game at home he spent the week telling the fans how games against the filth were looked upon as 3 points lost. He spent the whole week leading up to the game telling the fans how anything against them was a bonus, how he would rather see his team attack & lose than sit back and lose. Saying how you had to be positive. We went down there thinking "Great we're going to have a go at them for a change". The formation was 5-4-1 - with CHARLIE FCUKIN MILLER playing the lone role up front. Never got the ball outside our own half for 90 minutes & it was no surprise to see him sacked. He spent MORE on wages than Jobbie McCall, God - ?4k per week for Jamie Buchan??????????????????? Seriously, Smith is an old school coach who's been out of the game for a while. There are far better managers out there than him.

Myself :018: I was going to print a story how Brewster lied to a player (which I witnessed) then spoke the biggest heap of shyte the next day to all the press about it. It's true but could probably cause trouble so I'll save that for another day - PM me and I'll tell you that way! CaleyD and (I think) Immortal Howden Ender know who I am - lets just say I'm an arab with a huge dislike of Brewster and I regret the day he scored the winner in the cup final. Aye that was the one, 2nd game of the season. Left the whole squad ripping and almost led to the SPFA being called in to sort it out.

I posted it on another clubs forum a few weeks back about how Brew had lost the players respect. It was a very important game for ICT. During the previous game a certain player had tweaked his hammy. During a fitness test on the Friday before the game both the physio & Doc advised Brew that the said player shouldn't be risked. Brew asked the player and the player told Brew he didn't want to play if there was any risk of him making the injury worse. Brew said he had take the risk and told the player he was playing on Saturday. During the first half the player pulled his hammy again and didn't make it out for the 2nd half. Brew gave the player a complete dressing down, telling him how he shouldn't have played, how he'd conned the fans, the management, his team mates and himself etc etc - then fined him his appearance money. Now, if the player had hid is injury then fair enough BUT the physio, the doc and the player ALL told Brewster he shouldn't be risked and the player argued that the fine was very unfair - so Brew fined him again. That was the 1st of the willy nilly fines for no reasons that resulted in Brewster losing the dressing room. Now the question is - What player did it all start with and what game did it take place in? Trust me it's not an obvious choice!!

How many goals has he cost in the last few weeks? Yet again yesterday he was ball watching on at least 2 goals, not making any sort of challenge. Rank rotten, no jokes but there must be some reason why he plays every week and it's not because he's a good footballer!!

English teams are often somewhat unwilling to loan players of quality cross border as it would have to be til the end of the season. where did you hear that??? Warren Feeney, Roy O'Donavan and Willo Flood all on loan at United can be recalled in January by their clubs. Also if you remember The Gunners took Tony Stokes back from Falkirk so they could sell him to Sunderland a couple of years ago. I think their is some rule but it only applies to players below a certain age.

Mentioned that he felt the team wasn't responding to him anymore and maybe he'd taken them as far as he could. I can't say anymore because I think it's obvious directly where my source has come from. I gave you all on here the exclusive that Juanjo was going to have a trial with ICT and County back in April. I was first to tell you all on here that ICT were trying to/tried to get Darren Dods back in August. I posted the news on here before all you die hards or even the press knew a thing about it, my sources are good. Now again I'm on here posting some news. Apparantly Brewster has offered to walk away as he feels he's lost the dressing room. He has been told he has funds to spend in january but is considering his future - RIGHT NOW. The only thing I'm not sure is if the club have asked him to consider his decision or whether HE said he would take a few days to think it over.

Proud as hell today during the minutes applause at the Celtic game. Several arabs were their to show our respects to the man. Forget the transfer dealings. Eddie T was your clubs strongest allie, firstly in campaigning to get the rules changed allowing ICT to play in the SPL at Pittodrie. Secondly, after a 1-1 midweek draw bewtween the sides which was at the time the lowest attendance of an SPL game. Eddie T gathered support allowing Inverness to move back home. Never after himself, always looking after football fans. RIP Eddie.

I was humble & grateful today. Me, along with several other Inverness based Dundee United fans attended the Celtic game today. We wanted to clap & cheer to remember our chairman. The Caley fans in the main stand were a credit to themsleves, their club & city. Big cyber round of applause to everybody at the game today - THANK YOU!

Darren Dods was/did 1- At TCS on Saturday watching Inverness v Hibs. 2- Did have signing talks with Inverness before & after the game. 3- Was given a few days to mull over the deal offered. 4- Terms from United ARE that Inverness will have to pay his wage in full for the duration of any loan or the remainder of his contract. 5- The proposed deal has to be rubber stamped by an ICT comittee meeting. 6- Dods asked to leave United if he wasn't going to be playing on a regular basis. 7- Dods WAS looking for rented accomodation on Sunday in Inverness (I know this because he looked at a mates house). Like it or loath it all the above is fact. Dods IS a target for Brewster not a "rumoured" signing target.

He's no very keen on a loan move. Thats why he asked for time to think about it. All the travelling nearly ended his relationship when he was last here. My understanding is that Inverness were unwilling to offer him anything other than a loan deal to start with, with an option of an extra year. It's not about money. The offer Inverness made to him before he moved to United was more than the basic he got at Tannadice but utd have bigger bonus's/appearance fee's. Inverness's current wages are a bit higher now so he could easily fit into the structure. He wants to come back, Inverness want him back & I have the feeling that a season long loan with another years option will do it.

As nothing has been officially released about the matter by the club(s) or player. Many people will take your word as gospel; but that is all we have to go on at the moment. The fun i've had on AFC Chat reading about how "My sources confirm... Ian Black, Don Cowie, Paul Caddis and even Patrick Kluivert!!! are joining the Dons this summer (all on free transfers)". Does that make sense as to why it's in Rumours? Keep up the good snooping though "even Patrick Kluivert!!!" OYF LOL :thumb04: I know what you're saying.

Why was this moved to the rumour section? Firstly, I was asking what peoples thoughts were on him returning to Inverness. Secondly, It's not a rumour.
