  1. Im sure you, the board, have decided on a plan already. "If the team is at the bottom of the league and is 4 or more points adrift, we will have to call an EGM."

    Its not good enough.

Clearly the manager has lost the support of the players and the fans. Of this there is no doubt.

In a couple of weeks you will reluctantly accept two offers for Cowie and Black as they have refused to sign a contract.

Should you act now, results will change, you may be able to hold on to the biggest assets the team has, and you will be able to appease the fans (and no, not a minority...the majority if not unanimously, something you seem to not grasp or ignore)

Not only is Brewster dragging this club down, but he is also dragging you, the board, down too. If the club loses Cowie and Black and is relegated, or even barely survive, i would be surprised if anyone from the Director of Football up to you, Fraser, will be tolerated as you will be targeted as just as complicit as the manager.

Act now to save your own positions.

    (Edited for typo)

  2. I agree Davey. You dont spend 25 quid at a leisure event and expect to be filmed by police. This was obviously something that ICT allowed, and i dont think it is fair to one minute be happily munching your pie with tomato sauce over your face and slurping your Bovril and the next realise its on camera, how uncomfortable are ICT going to make the whole stadium experience be??

  3. 5th Stand - I certainly wouldnt have put them into an overcrowded stand. The Taylor report, whether you agree with it or not, is there for a reason. If something had happened where a child had been knocked over and broke all their teeth what do you think would happen?

The flipside which i think you are talking about is that it would do more harm than good to turn them away. Not so, the safety of those inside the stadium is paramount and that was jeopordized yesterday. Whatever happens outside the stadium is each individuals responsibility, but once inside it is a collective.

How are fans going to follow orders to not stand in the steps or indeed at their seat when this kind of action is being tolerated.

  4. My instincts here tell me it will be used as a training video for new recruits to the Northern Constabularly. Giving them a chance to see some animated behaviour and then ask the raw recruits "How would you handle this situation" etc.

Still, not the nicest thing to be subjected to. Did they film the severe overcrowding in the South stand too?

  5. Sorry I don't agree. Robbo wins the sentimental vote because he got us promoted. Since he left us he has accomplished nothing at a succession of clubs. Anyway Sutherland said in none to subtle a way that he had burned his bridges

Robbo wasnt a failure though. He has been so unlucky, at Hearts and Derry, they had a change of executives and they wanted their own man. At Ross County he did the honourable thing, and much the same as the other two. No stain on his managerial record as far as I can see

  6. Its obvious from how the traffic was mishandled that nobody knows what the plan is, there is no transparency and too many people pulling in the wrong directions. No accountability either

  7. John Robertson on "open all mics" has been stressing how over capacity the dons stand is, saying that ICT would have to put some fans in another stand, and that a lot of fans were watching the game from standing in the steps as there were no seats. Hardly a good thing to do and i doubt the SPL will be happy with that. What are they doing at the ticket office, police/stewarding

  8. Three wins in 17 games? Hire that man!!!!

I lost all respect for Paul Ince after his comments "boys against men" about Celtic losing to Man Utd 3-0 at Old Trafford.

From what lofty position was he to have a go? Celtic and Man U.....hardly a surprising result. Arrogant and paranoid, "people are out to get ex-Man U players now in management"......what a load of guff he spoke.

  9. According to the official site there are 25 members of the first team. Lets knock that down a bit

McNulty and Kerr on loan 23

    Fraser and Esson goalkeepers 22

    Wilson and Brewster n/a 20

Djebi Zadi, Sutherland, Gillespie, Mcallister (not used) 16

That gives an outfield regular pool of 16 for 11 positions. If Black and Cowie leave its 14. Hardly competition for places are there?

    Second string:

    Fraser

    Duff/Proctor/......../Djebi zadi

    Sutherland/Vigurs/Gillespie/............/........

    Mcallister

Please correct any mistakes here, just a first draft, and done in haste

  10. Always liked him as a player and a manager. Very disciplined and professional. He speaks French so i think he will be a good appointment for Charleroi. If he succeeds there, i think he may well be the next Fulham or Celtic boss in time.

  11. It seems we need a replacement for Wilson, Black, and Cowie and an experienced striker to help the other younger forwards. A defender would also be useful.

Does anybody really see 5 new players arriving? Without Black and Cowie who plays in midfield? Could someone display the line up if these two are removed

  12. The six were not chosen by Lex Gould. They were chosen, for their knowledge and experience of the game, by the SPL committee. Their remit to look at ways of improving and promoting the game in Scotland. They will report back to the SPL committee who will then decide what to do with the findings.

    Nothing sinister in that.

Sinister or not, surely any "think tank" set up to make decisions that will affect all members should have represenatatives of all involved to avoid any suspicion of favouritism or cronyism,(surely not in Scottish football :o )

I agree Couch potato. Why cant they have 12? Not enough chairs? Short of cash to buy 12 lunches? If we were all part of a football team and i chose half of the team to decide on the team name, would you not be aggrieved if we were all on the same level etc?

Up until Jim Jeffries spoke out I assumed the others had indicated they werent keen to attend. This is not the case. They were snubbed. Alex: if they were chosen for their knowledge and experience then why was Jim Jeffries chosen over Yogi?

  13. Birdog, I can understand what you are saying, and i agree with you. Why do i feel Gaelic is important? Same reason as you feel Scots is important, because its part of my heritage, do i think its more important than Scots or Doric, not at all. Am i biased towards it? Yes.

Now BBC Alba and other things have stimulated discussion about this. I dont think that people who speak Gaelic have a thing against non-speakers, but that they are inherently proud of their background and roots and work hard to keep them alive.

I can understand your concerns about the need for our other just as important languages to also be given support and I believe that it will happen, and I am for that 100%.

So, the question should be, could/should ICT incorporate more of its Highlands and Islands heritage, language and culture into the club and how?

  14. Arrogant? Thats not the first time ive been called that :rotflmao:

Ok, when i said "our" i meant Highlanders and Islanders. Im 27, and my grandmother's native language was Gaelic, she learnt english as a second language. Its neither dead, dying or irrelevant in peoples daily life in a large part of the region outside of Inverness.

To stay on topic, would people not be keen on more Gaelic in the club, timing is good with BBC Alba etc, and it is an identity of the area, whether you speak it or not, so i would like to see it on the badge, lots of clubs use latin on their badges, why not Gaelic?
