  1. We don't have the budget for wholesale changes. That costs money. Generally consistency breeds success (look at our history and Rangers this season).

I would be more surprised if Robertson wasn't in charge next season. Still feel he is doing a good job, he is consistently losing his better players and having to try and replace them on a lower budget.

This season hasn't be great but there is lots of caveats within that including injuries and the long spell of not playing which have hampered us.

Stick with it and roll with the punches

  2. The whole defence was poor today, looked shaky and disorganised.

Thought Welsh and Vincent were very good in the first half. Vincent dropped out of it big style in the second. Sutherland was very impressive. Mackay did okay, Doran was quiet apart from the lovely through ball for McKay who took it well.

Second half was infuriating. We slowed play right down and starting playing long angled balls.

Credit to Morton. They battled and deserved the point. Our players looked at times with 11 v 11 a much much better team. We start coasting in the second half and it costs us dearly. Poor attitudes from some of the players in my opinion.

  3. This games not going ahead it is.

Snow melt will mean a saturated pitch followed by minus temperatures from Friday afternoon right through to kick off. Perfect conditions for a frozen pitch call off.  😭

    Really hope I'm wrong

  4. Won't be Duffy. It's on our those who isolated.

That was embarrassing for Neil and his club. Reckon he will be gone before Saturday. A club with Celtic's 'values' shouldn't stand for that kind of unprofessional outburst.

Lennon has been found out as mediocre manager for the 4th time now. Could be his last gig

  5. Did he enjoy/appreciate his song 'used to *****/but now he's alright'?

Or would he have preferred something a bit more complimentary?

Does he regret any of his career move choices? Particularly the Hearts move when he may have had plenty of different offers.

  6. We are probably in a more unique situation where the majority of players have moved up here from other areas of the country and are relatively in isolation from their families and friends.

The players are in a demographic that is very low risk.

They are now in a position of getting tested weekly which is an extra layer of protection.

There has been no evidence of cross contamination from playing other teams. Therefore the travelling across the country and bringing back the virus isn't particularly high risk.

The shower thing is exaggerated I think. Towel down, change of clothes and into a heated bus/car. However many have questioned my hygiene levels before!

Essentially it should be down to choice. Players/coaches/staff vote and the club returns the majority decision on Monday to the SFA.

Personally I feel Maxwell is a bit peeved off that Robbo (if it was him that was referred to) has spoken about welfare of players publicly and kinda slated the SFA. He is probably very confident most clubs will return a verdict to carry on so if basically publically calling robbos bluff, especially if all 10 clubs want to continue.

  7. This season has a lot of similarities to last season. Very inconsistent. Some good results and performances and some very poor ones. Sometimes in consecutive weeks.

Not sure what causes this. I think we can all agree the quality is there and when we click, it can be brilliant to watch. However likewise, we can look disjointed and lack any creativity at times.

We should be aiming for 2nd as it's a huge advantage compared to 3rd. I don't think there is a reason why we can't get 2nd but need a run of wins now. The team must recognise every game is as important as the other whether we play Dundee or Alloa.

This probably sounds like a lot of clichés but I worry we maybe raise levels for some games and not others.

  8. The whole issue with Carl was his wage v Harper's wage. I would presume Harpers wage would be significantly less and a similar output on the park. Doesn't make sense to bring him back unless he is guaranteed to displace Harper and be a big improvement. I'd rather let our youngster flourish.

  9. I was really worried about the loss of Carson. However Allardice has done very well in there and MacGregor has done brilliantly when asked to play deeper.

With toshney and mchattie out is has given plenty game time to Harper and opportunities for Fyffe and Nicholson.

I think these experienced players will have a fight on their hands to get near the starting 11 which is exactly what you want.
