yeah i knda agree C100. While any investment is welcome, i cant really see it changing things on the park where it matters at the moment!

One is also of the "I BELIEVE" train of thought!

wheres that " I BELIEVE " dude?

Delighted that East Fife, Ayr & Falkirk know exactly how we felt at Parkhead in 2001!

I agree with SORTED! Its absolutely crazy to hear on the first day of the season about the teams vying for 3rd place. The automatic acceptance of 1st and 2nd has to stop. The OF have not really set the league on fire in recent years with big spending and we have all seen teams match them on the field, yet they are always in the top 2 spots from the outset, although i was pleased to see Motherwell trying their best this season. The Media love-in is embarrasing and there seems a reluctance in the game to question the way the league plays out.
Question: Do we think that the SPL or SFA would want any other teams in 1st & 2nd place? I think not.

A nice little article questioning why teams in the 2nd & 3rd Divisions have remained there.
The writer uses the ICT story to back up his question of Why!
Oh and i personally think that ICT DID change Scottish Football.

Tuffyey gets a higher rating in FM11 as well.
My biggest suprise was the goal machine Blumenstein! 13 goals he scored for me and was valued at 750k when i sold him, lol

according to Inverness CT Fans FB page we have singed someone called Aiden Chippendale from on loan Huddersfield Town!
He's a natural Left winger who can play as a Striker!

So im at home, enjoying my cuppa and the opening chapters of the online version of 'Against All Odds'. But a question arose. Surely pre-merger there must have been a fair few trophies siting in the respective trophy rooms of both Caledonian & Thistle.
Does anyone know what happened to these trophies? Were they hauled over to the ICT trophy room or the respective social clubs? Or maybe auctioned off?
thanks

thanks W0lf! Always happy to extend our squad. Looks like a promising youngster.
My pal will be pleased, She's a huge Wolves fan...Cant wait to break the news to her!

I knew there was someone else involved, so happy to extend my thanks to Pull My Finger!

On January 7th 2011; i posted a thread on the "For Sale" section looking for a copy of this book. It was obvious that it wasnt availiable anymore, so ended my 10 year search for it. However through discussions with Scotty, Caley D & the author Charles Bannerman; we discussed an online edition that could be downloaded. Well today i have my copy to read as its available on the Homepage.
A big thanks to all involved ( Scotty, Caley D, Charles Bannerman and anyone else) in making this happen. Its amazing what we can achieve by simple discussions!
you have made this ICT fan very happy!

Thanks Scotty! Your last post makes Interesting reading. If my " reading between the lines"-ometer is working correctly, it seems that Tullochs interest in ICT is for their own reasons rather than footballing reasons!
Im interested in something CaleyD mentioned, that someone not on the board being the major shareholder! I assume that 'someone' is Tullochs themselves?
In short if any of us won the 86m Euro jackpot tonight it would be worthless as the 'major shareholder' would veto any investment by a supporter who happened to have 80m+ to spend...surely im reading that wrong?
-
Out of interest, how does someone become the chairman of ICT? Is it simply who puts the most money into he pot? or are there other factors considered?
It seems that Fraser & Savage have their business ties. But do succesfull businessmen make for good chairmans? Certainly Murray provided the goods at Rangers!
-
well Golabart can also play as a CF, so i think we are ok! Wouldn't say no though
-
I know Mckay is injured, but he may be good for 10-15 mins at the end!
-
Sorry to dissapoint you IHE! The Innes opening isnt enough for me to come home either, lol
-
I can see why you are asking .... but IMHO, its information regarding a place where a significant quantity of ICT supporters meet before a game so its relevant to this area of the site as it gives the fans a heads-up and allows them to make a decision on where to go pre-match ...
fair enough!

I'll worry about this scenario when it matters! At the end of the season
We are only 4 points from mid table after all!
