  1. Dale Gillespie has previously played in the Scotand under 19s.
  2. Word(s) of advice - book your travel ahead. Trains from Aberdeen to Glasgow / Edinburgh / Inverness are all pretty cheap if booked in advance as is the Megabus. I book my train tickets for going back to Inverness weeks in advance otherwise it gets to expensive to keep going back. IN one month last season I spent ~ ?120 in train tickets as I couldn't get any of the cheap deals.
  3. I thought the average attendance when we were last in the 1st division was around 1950 . It is very hard to judge this time round but having 5 years in the spl our fan base has grown, also with the price of season tickets been dramatically reduced i am fairly confident of average attendances of been around 2500 to 3000 mark! Its going to be a very competitive league were every team can take points of everyone, hopefully an entertaining league.
  4. How much for an adult and child 9 years old in the north stand
  5. Just wondering with the cold snap forecast to last until the end of the week, how is the pitch holding out. I know we have undersoil heating but its baltic with sub zero temps both day and night! does anyone have an idea.
  6. Would Buchanan come? We did eventually make an offer for him, I think, after not offering a pre-contract when he was on trial with us in January '07 (opportunity missed IMO), and got the knock-back - "better prospects at Partick" or somesuch. Maybe his take on that has changed as Partick don't seem to be moving forward in the First, but I'd guess he's one of those guys for whom Glasgow is the centre of the universe and the Highlands is full of scary dragon creatures.
  7. If i remember rightly when we won the first division against st johnstone was there no a caption on North Tonight about Caledonian Macbrayne taking over 100 supporters over from Stornoway for that Game.
  8. If that was true, why then is it that there are bus loads of Old Firm Fans traveling further every week form the highlands to watch their teams? Because those supporters clubs have been established for many, many years and they can offer subsidised buses because they can fill them. I cant see a Wick ICT supporters club forming and being able to provide 48 passengers on a bus no matter how much publicity ICT display around that area. We'd be lucky to be able to fill a bus from the Innes let alone further afield.
  9. We played well in the first half, dont know what this punting up the park lark is all about though, play it from the back,Starting with Fraser making some kind of effort at throwing the ball out to players which would at least mean we would keep posession of the ball instead of the Hibs defence picking it off all the time. Dont think we deserved a draw but will take it .
