  2. I dunno, wouldn't be the first time the "hand of god" played a part in the outcome of a football match

We seem to be producing some talent in the Youth system and I think this is the best for us to be blooding these young guys as the immediate step up to the SPL is a huge one. If Wood continues like this it wouldn't be a bad idea to recall him in January and put him out on loan at a slightly higher level.

Distinguishable by the presence of the tattoo as well I might add!!!
  5. Like anyone would tell you :023: Wonder if the Cannabis Farm at the end of the street is back in business yet? :015:
  6. Been there, done that and even ended up as an Admin.....you could say the curse hit me full strength :015:
  7. Zander has done the exact same as Rory did before breaking in to a regular squad position - he's been running rings around the opposition at junior and reserve level. The difference is that Rory was thrown in at the deep end due to injuries. That may have hindered his progress and I'm sure if the club feel that is in any way the case they will not want to repeat it with Zander. I don't think too many people are looking to send Rory packing, instead they are calling for him to go on loan or to take a step back for a bit. We have seen a lot of harsh comments, but I think much of that is born out of fan frustration at the situation.
  8. He'd be great on the right wing if had a little more pace.
  9. Amendment to the above - It's a season long loan deal where the Swans have the option to recall him in January should he be needed by them.
  10. It's a season long loan
  11. The fact we haven't beaten in them in 4 years now (i think) is even more worrying don't ya think?
  12. Would anyone be interested if I was to run a minibus down for the game?
  13. Anything which offers the glimpse of an opportunity for the lad to progress is welcome in my book, even if I don't think he should be in the ICT squad right now. He may not be considered among the most talented at his age, but he must be one of the most experienced. He certainly wouldn't have been given the opportunities we've given him anywhere else. I'm happy to be proved wrong and I actually hope the lad goes out there, bangs in a goal or two and gives us all the two fingers.
  14. I've looked and looked and looked, but I can't for the life of me find the "Randomly select a player for criticism" programme for this site. Would you care to point me in the right direction?
  15. You like Fir Park so much your going back Harry? Midden game for me :016:
  16. I don't think we need go as far as that, but we should be looking for a better mix of opposition. The fact that Peterhead beat us should have been warning enough though.
  17. He wasn't on his post Alex. In fact watching it again, he actually had to run backwards as the ball came through. If he had gone forwards instead he would have easily been able to collect it. At the time of the tackle they were still about 8 yards out from the goal so the angle wasn't that tight. Think we may have to agree to disagree and when push comes to shove Fraser shouldn't be having to face situations like that, especially when you have 2 defenders covering the man who's threatening the goal.
  18. Munro is claiming in the papers that he never made contact; if he didn't it must have been very close and you can't blame the ref for giving the penalty as even looking at the replay time and again it's impossible to tell for certain either way. Regardless of that, he shouldn't have had to be making the challenge as the more I watch it the more convinced I am that Caff should have been on the play ahead of Munro and Fraser should have been off his line and had it covered. They didn't and it was left to Munro, his instinct as a defender is to get between the ball and the goal and that's what he did, you could argue it was safe and he shouldn't have committed himself, but had the ball landed in the back of the net as a result then we'd all be on here chastising him for not sticking a foot into prevent it.
  19. They seem determined to stop you guys getting anything over there then!!!! :015: Try this direct link thingymadooda - Clicky Clicky (Open in new window as it resizes itself) If that don't work then am guessing it's IP Blocked for some reason.

  21. I've seen nothing in the highlights to suggest that Rossco being out of position cost us anything in that game. I know it's only the highlights, but if you watch, every opportunity other than the penalty came from them attacking down our left side. Hastings was giving Motherwell far too much space over there and it was only a matter of time before they were going to score from a ball played in from that area. Even leading up to the penalty, had Rossco been there then he would have been covering the wider player. Caff was actually covering the man and was first off the mark, but decided to stop and leave the chasing to Munro :017: I also think Fraser should have been out and easily had that ball. If nothing else he should have been moving to tighten the angle but he appeared glued to the spot until it was too late. As a result Munro had no option but to attempt the challenge and even though pretty soft, I think their was plenty in it to merit the penalty.
  22. look at the "last updated" time - they are obviously in the middle of doing it :021:
