I know I've probably been TB's biggest critic since Saturday, but at least he did give us a little bit of hope with his appointment. That was in very short supply during Brewster's last few games in charge. I wish I could see the point in this debate.

I can't argue with any of that, but I have to say the last three games with Butcher in charge were very hard to take, especially as it did look like he had got us into a safe position. Even now I still can't believe we're in Div 1...

I would ask you against Falkirk who would you put the blame on for their winning goal? In the 4 - 0 game who cost us the 2nd & 3rd goal which then contributed to the keeper being sent off, as he had to concede a penalty? The 4-0 game was a nightmare for several of our players.... I certainly wouldn't have blamed Mihadjuks for Falkirks winning goal on Saturday... The cross came in from the left back area.... Lionel should have tried to prevent that.... It was a good finish by Higden....

I'm quite sure TB and MM would have had scouts at this game.

He did look good in the Hearts game.... He was so quick off the mark he knackered his hamstring after about 10 mins as I recall....

I'd just like someone to explain to me why they are so sure TB and MM are precisely the right team to bring ICT straight back into the SPL. Is there something in their track record somewhere, that I might have missed, which suggests they have exactly the right credentials for the job?

Probably a question of finding the right blend of youth and experience. Hamilton demonstrated that pretty well last season with a team of old hackers, but yet managing to find a place for young James McArthur to show what he was capable of.

I think he should have been given at least one chance in a match situation.

I'm not convinced the present management team have the right credentials to bring us straight back up again.. Their track record in football management, could at best only be described as patchy. I'd suggest if after 6 SFL games we are not in the top 3 in that league, it would be time to think again.

I can't obviously prove conclusively we would still be in the SPL.... But is is extremely unlikely Rossco would have been in a central position to make that challenge on Lovell, and we might, at the very least have finished the game with 11 players. It was a big mistake to play him and Mihadjuks where they were played... naive in the extreme... Someone should be called to account for it...

Great post... Had Mihadjuks been at CB and Tokely in his preferred slot as RB on Saturday, we would still be in the SPL.. Vigurs always looked to me like a natural successor to Black... Unfortunately you have to choose your words carefully on here, or you run the risk of upsetting the Butcher Appreciation Society.
