A good support again today but not so noisy in the north stand a it was the last time and the woman in front of me with the rattle who I thought was Lizi turned out to be Jenny  she was making plenty noise especially when Gardine scored :clapping:

I can assure you I was using my rattle to the fullest when Gardyne scored!  Lizi x

  2. Our walk-up fans, without season tickets, were in the South Stand nearest to the Main Stand, and I could see lots of children there.  Maybe families still undecided regarding season tickets, or Covid related money problems.   The 100 or so Raith fans were in South Stand area nearest the A9.

Over the balance of the two games we are a fair bit below where we want to be, both in terms of performance & results.

Bearing in mind the few pre-season games and the number of new signings, combined with players missing and yet to play I think we are justified in expecting big improvements in coming weeks - hopefully this will materialise by the time the league (important one) kicks off.

Very interested to see how well Mr Hughes does in these crucial times.

At half time on Saturday it was obvious that the subs were being put through their paces quite sharply, in quite a contrast to previous seasons when the subs usually casually chatted and maybe kicked a couple of balls about halfheartedly.

You can renew over the phone, so that may be an option for you if you are away at present.

With something as important as this, I’d have thought the club would have highlighted it when they released details of the season tickets. Had it not been for a post here, I’d ha e been unaware of it.

Thank you, Robert.  I looked at the option of doing it on line tonight but will phone tomorrow to ensure my renewal.  Thanx again.

I hope not. That would be fundamentally unfair.

If there is to be a continuing restriction on numbers the equitable way to deal with it is by ballot.

Certainly sounded like he’s off after listening to Dodds on the news.

I would be very unhappy about the ‘first 1000 season ticket buyers’ rule as, if I was at home, I would be there as soon as season ticket sales opened.  I did ask about renewing my season ticket when I went to pay my Player Sponsorship money but couldn’t do so then.  I went on a stay in Scotland holiday, first time away from my home since 2019, and if I am barred I will be a very unhappy clapper.

I'll be renewing mine. I also was lucky to get to the Dundee match last season and enjoyed the experience

I will be renewing mine as ever.  I felt extremely safe (from Covid) at the Dundee game last season, very well organised by ICT staff.  Strange experience being in the away end but great atmosphere and seeing fans I hadn’t seen since the start of lockdown.  I’m just looking forward to seeing ICT this coming season.   Incidentally I was happy to see the games on my iPad, no matter how crappy, was much better than nothing.  (Ok I’m a happy clapper but pleased to admit it).

If only back in 2015 winning the cup offered, as it does now for StJ, Europa league group stages (or at worst, the new Europa conference league).

Possible £3m revenue from that - where might we be now, and what a lot of fun we’d have had on our travels!

I’m just so happy I saw ICT in Romania - a wonderful few days, quite surreal and a never to be forgotten experience.   The travel, the heat, the camaraderie, the stadium(!), the overkill armed police(!), the food, the drink (both so cheap!).

  8. Many congratulations to our boys, including Daniel even though he’s not officially still ours.   A great result for ICT back room staff working and bringing on our local boys.   Well done to these youth coaches.

  9. Really enjoyed watching the young ICT team and very well done to the whole team - a great result.  Good to catch a glimpse of old ICT favourite Darren Dods in charge of Fife Elite.   Well done to the camerawork, eventually seeing the goals again.  However I seemed to see ICT fourth goal umpteen times before seeing actual game at 88mins but a nice Friday game so, Thank You ICT.   Ps Iain Auld’s commentary, eventually, just at the right tempo and excellent.

  10. Looking forward to seeing this.   We used to go to reserve games on a Tuesday afternoon, in the early 2000’s and saw some teenagers who came good and first team players coming back after injury etc.   A great way to use flexitime working also.

  11. I would have Alex Fisher back - goals there certainly.  He was here in the Foran era and Foran benched him for coming back from England late for training.   Maybe he was jealous Alex was more popular than Foran though he was!    Feed the Fish - oh yes please.

  12. I’m sorry but I feel ever so let down.  ICT could have gone out on a high but, no, just again an uninspiring draw.   Now we have to wait nearly three months before another game and, even then will we be allowed to be actually there.   The lockdown is easing, I felt so safe at the Stadium last December when allowed to see the game, so why couldn’t we have been there tonight?  It could have made a difference to the performance.  The easing of lockdown seems to be aimed at pubs etc instead of fans wanting to see our teams.   Sorry, on hindsight, maybe I should be sending this to the Scottish Government and not this forum but I just wanted to vent my spleen as the saying goes.  Sorry again.  Don’t castigate this old fan.

  13. Like many others I find Andy’s stats and constant inane chatter irritating.  Iain Auld is so much better, speaking when necessary, staying silent when there’s nought to talk about.  I actually muted the stream and listened to Radio Scotland commentary which, at times, was irritating but not as much as ICT commentary.   If the same circumstances are to continue for any length of time, in regard to Covid,

To be fair the commentator is the only decent thing about the overall package. It's the guy sitting next to him offering his pearls of wisdom that's the problem.

then ICT must make improvements especially in the commentary area.

  14. Love the strips this year and the pink away strip seems lucky unlike the black strip wasn’t lucky at all and made them look like eleven refs running around!  I know luck has nothing to do with football really but anything helps nowadays.
