Brora opened the scoring through James Wallace in the 26th minute but a County trialist levelled seven minutes later. Eamon Brophy won the game after the hour when he ran through to score. Cammy Mackay was between the sticks for Brora with Jordan White starting for County. Alex Samuel was a second half sub for County on the hour along with Scott Allardice. The imminent departure of defender Nikola Ujdur, who has been linked to Queen’s Park, might free up funds for Ferguson to make signings. Last week, the manager said he also needs a third keeper in the door, but cannot afford to add one right now.

Raith's pre-season so far. East Fife 0-0 Raith Rovers The game ended 0-0 with both teams relatively happy with a good work out and touch-wood, no injuries. Next up for Rovers is a trip to Montrose on Wednesday before the only home friendly against Inverness on Saturday. Montrose 0-1 Raith Rovers Callum Smith with a second half strike was the only goal of the game but Ian Murray was impressed by what he saw when he reviewed the game later.

Club Statement The Board met earlier this week to approve the financial statement which was audited by accountants, A9 Consultancy. It reports a loss before tax of £588,053. Director Panos Thomas said: “We are doing everything in our power to find new investment in the club. We are actively involved in discussions with a number of interested parties who have the investment required to ensure a sustainable future for the club we all love.

New investors now know there is a £588k loss last year to contend with. Not exactly a going concern, but that;s what you get with mismanagement...

Im still bothered that the lies continue to come, or is it just a wee white lie? I overheard Gary Bollan reply to a fan yesterday when asked where Ujdur was. He said "he is not playing today because he had back spasms in training and he was left out of todays squad" So, what is the correct rumour. Is he still with us with a sore back, or is he away as suggested. It's time a spokesperson stood tall and told us exactly what the fork is going on. You would think the club thrived on all the adverse speculation going around. FFS tell us the truth for once
