  6. Hello Stevie... Thanks for the above, appreciated... I've had a look at it on tinternet, look quite nice, and they have a special on at 75 quid pppn for DBB that's not bad, so I'm between there and the Piersland at Troon. One of the lads is a golf fanatic, he's never been to Scotland, lives here in Canada, so he's just bustin a gut to get a round in at Troon or maybe Gleneagles if we can sort that out for him. I don't play golf, it's Ayr races that attracts me, just hoping that it's not fleeing while we're up there, I could use a bit of warm weather, warmer than the -20C that we've had here in Canada. Mind you it did nae bother me, I haven't hardly been out the house the last couple of months, I'd a job getting up and doon the stair let alone wander down the street, but I'm off the chemo now, and feeling a damned sight better for it. Hello Johnboy, nice to hear from you, and Thanks for the support, it does make a difference hearing someone cheer you on, when yer flat on yer back on the canvas, I can see why boxers get back on their feet, be hellish if there was nowt but silence, and you knew you were down for the count. Hello Mee... aye, sometimes the outsiders come in, and sure enough I'm not beat yet, I've been out on the January transfer market and signed on a Harley Street Doctor, thank gawd I'd the money to do that, or I'd be relegated to a warmer place for sure :017: No one liked a ciggy more than I did... but if I could do owt to warn folks off 'em, I sure as **** would, I just didn't think it could happen to me, too young and stupid most the time, paying for it now though, and not just in £ notes... Good on yer for chucking 'em... half the time it's just a bleedin habit you don't know yer doing, that's part of the problem, I'm sure I've walked into the news agents on auto pilot to buy me cigs, and been half way doon the street smoking one afore I know what was going on.   20. Aye, it's true enough, the stuff they pump into you is so strong you're supposed to keep away from kids or pregnant women. You'd also set of the alarms at airports to, there's that much radiation in you for a while... What with that and the chemo, not being able to have a pint, well not and keep it down for longer than 2 minutes, then me hair fell out during this week, it's been a sh*gger of a week, might bring me round if ICT bury Hearts though, I hear they could have 10 men out the team, mind you, Caley aren't at full strength either, maybe we're all havin' a bad week...   21. Sat here in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, twiddling me thumbs, topped up with enough Techneium to run a power station, or at least to have me glowing in the dark for a while... If there's one thing I could say from being on this side of the fence it's "I wish I'd never smoked" so FWIW give it a thought if you smoke, you don't want to be where I find meslef the now, it's a bloody awful feeling I can tell you that. Just got this from one of me mates... puts you in a right spot don't it, I hope I gave him the right advice :024: Hello Bob, I've not confided in you before about this, but I really need your advice on what could be a crucial decision. I've suspected for some time now that Mary has been cheating on me, the usual signs, phone rings, I answer it, the caller hangs up. She's been going out with the girls a lot recently, although when I ask their names she always says, "Just some friends from work, you don't know them." I sometimes stay awake to look out if she's getting a taxi home, but she always comes walking up the drive as I hear the sound of a car leaving around the corner, as if she has gotten out and walked the rest of the way. Do you think it's somebody dropping her off ? I picked up her mobile yesterday, just to see what time it was, this caused her to go completely berserk. She snatched the phone out of my hand and cursed me hysterically, screaming that "I should never touch her personal property". She then accused me of trying to spy on her. Anyway, I have never broached the subject with my wife. I think deep down, I just didn't want to know the truth, but last night she went out again and I decided to find out what's going on. I decided I was going to park my car next to the garage and then hide behind it so I could get a good view of the street around the corner when she came home. It was freezing bloody cold but as I was crouching behind my motor that I noticed a small amount of oil leaking through the gasket underneath the cylinder head. So... I really need to know, is this something I can repair myself, or do you think I should take it to the garage ? Billy.   24. Beware of this Scam ! I don't know how many of you shop at Tesco, but this may be useful to know. I have become a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. This happened to me and it could happen to you. The victims are always males, so ladies, please pass this information along to your husbands and male friends. Here's how the scam works... Two seriously good-looking 18-year-old Polish girls come over to your car as you are packing your shopping in the trunk. They both start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their breasts almost falling out of their skimpy T-shirts. It is impossible not to look. When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say 'No' and instead ask you for a ride to another store. You agree and they get in the back seat, on the way, they start having *** with each other. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and performs **** *** on you while the other one steals your wallet. I had my wallet stolen on Tuesday, then Wednesday, twice on Thursday, same thing today, and with a bit of luck again tomorrow it's costing me a fortune in groceries and wallets !!! Canada Bob.
