  1. I believed. Said this to Terry in January. Belief was even stonger when Russel Duncan edged back into team on a solid run of games. Think he gave us the protection we were searching for, and that gave the extra confidence going forward.

Wonder how many Div 1 managers would have ICT players in their Team of the Season now. Best Keeper, Best defence, Best Midfield, Best Wingers, Best Attack, Best leaders on the park, Best Management Duo in league by far.

Go on Boys take us to the promised land

  2. Brillaint, Fantastic, Superb, Ecstatic, Terrific. SUPERCALEYGOBALLISTIC, DUNDEEAREATROCIOUS.

Well done to Terry, Mo, Doc, Scotty, and all the backroom team. To ever player who played their part in our success. Best team in the league by far, and looking forward to a season of the Shamrock boys terrorising the SPL

  3. Probably he was looking at how effective a shamrock leaf attack can be and looking for tips of Terry. Foran will be loyal to Terry, as he was loyal in staying when we went down, less likely to jump ship as we go up. Hayes has said in the Courier he came here to play SPL football with ICT. Rooney worth a few hundred thousand - cant see Stuart Milne doing a Melville at Dundee. Think we will have more money than Dons this Summer, as they are skint and are planning moving stadium

  4. Dont rely want to admit this

But it is for the best

    I feel ashamed of myself.

Like I need to scrub my skin.

But it is for the greater good

    you know its only temporary

    It wont happen again

BUT I WOULD LIKE DUNDEE TO WIN AGAINST RAITH.

Not because i dislike the Rovers

But it will be a better feeling down Somerset

  5. He is a good pacey player when he gets the supply from midfield, he would be a good signing for you but no offence meant by this but I think he would rather go to Motherwell.

Why on heavens earth would he want to go there. He seemed to like our beautiful green flat pitch, suited his style of play, dont think too many beach footballers have Tade's pace.

  6. I have to admit that I am one of those folks who is quite superstitious. This current run we have been on is starting to get to me. If we have a good result I tend to wear the same ( washed ) clothes to the following game. That was fine in January, February and March as it was freezing at the games. Yesterday I left it to the last minute to get the Foreign T shirt, the Bauhaus Tshirt, the home ICT top, the ICT hoodie sweatshirt and the thick winter jacket and the exact same two pairs of socks on. I was sweating like mad under all that yesterday. Any one else got any daft superstitions rituals on the day of the game.

Another thing that tends to happen, I am usually at the teahut or the toilet when we score. Yesterday, missed both goals, once getting stuff at the teabar, and then taking the yougest to the toilet. Its got so bad now that those around me ask when Im going to the teabar so they know when we will score. The highlights are becoming invaluable, as I must have missed about a dozen of our goals this season at least

  7. :P

    Yes, it was worth it.

I doubt if the people who lost their jobs would agree.

Mentioned this a good while back, and I am sure that none of those who lost their jobs would have been waiting for this magic moment. Hope if they have not gained another job they do get offered aq place back at our hallowed turf.

In reflection I also think that the relegation season WILL make ICT a stronger club, and looking at the SPL this year, look forward to an exciting season challenging away from the relegation area. Think ICT fits Terry Butcher the way Motherwell fitted him, and believe it could be a long partnership to benefit all.

  8. Want the two teams that will struggle most next season to stay up. Think that would be Killie and Falkirk, so St Midden to go down. Partly because I would love to be the team to put Falkirk down at the end of the season, due to a bad decision by a ref conned by a tangle of legs when Rooney is looking for the advantage of the extra man. I would then intruct the players to go down with an assumed head knock every time they went into our box for the rest of the game, and us all to chant to Mr Steven Presly that it was him that taught us how to spoil a game. I have a long long memory for those who cheat against us. Lennon, Elvis and Darren Mackie come to mind most

  9. Had thought about this quite a bit now, and my own thoughts were largely the same as the majority. The first lower league team to beat Celtic on their own patch, with a Highland league origin level of players. Shock waves was one description, it was Tsunami proportions that went throughout the world. Yeah it was an out of form Celtic team with some pretty decent players and a lot of international caps amongst them.

County have done the same, against an out of form Celtic, with a few good, to very good players. But they did it on the national platform, BUT it only sent ripples around Britain, not Europe or the world - apart from the Celtic world. This was partly due to the previous defeats by lower level teams that Celtic have now suffered.

However, I did hear Neil Lennon say in an interview that from a Celtic point of view the defeat in Inverness was the biggest achievement, as that was against a well oiled, winning mentality, full of internationals, great Celtic team. One which goes down in history for all the right reasons, not the wrong ones. Considering it was against a very successful manager, with a team of god knows how many international caps for big countries.

So I will go with the ginger whingers opinion on what has been the biggest achievement

INVERNESS CALEDONIAN THISTLE 1 ( DENNIS WYNESS ) GLASGOW CELTIC 0.

a lot of our players that night also played in the Parkheid game too, so double whammy

  10. Change will happen, but priority will be to protect the number of games, as income is king. Imagine 30 games, average crowd 5000, thats got to be a loss of ? 70,000 per home game x 8 games = half a mill. Its not just ticket sales that effect, as for less games the season tickets have to cost less too, partly why Motherwell are rightly up in arms.

Best is most likely the 14 team league, home and away then split in half and home away again, 38 games, 2 up 2 down, possible play off aswell. League cup the way it was for years with initial local mini league, leading onto last 16 maybe, and possibly include best non league teams. Attendances would nt be great but it games, less travel, local interest, ie County, ICT, Elgin, Clach, Nairn and Forres. Peterhead, Broch, Dons, Cove, Locos and Huntly etc Although it would be like a bye for Aberdeen most years

  11. I understand why folks might think Toon or Canaries, but they are winning teams at the moment. Im thinking of teams that have sunk rather low, Bradford City still get 12 - 15,000 at home games and they are mid 4th level division. Thinking of a team abroad somewhere and they were relegated down a couple of divisions for buying the ref nice things - might have been Fiorentina or Napoli. Aware of Dortmunds 80,000 a week, but they still a force in top division.

  12. We all know who profess to have the best and most loyal fans in the world, but only an exaggerated attendance of 27,500 were present last night v Motherwell. Celtics attendance figures this season have been shocking, and thats after one poor half season,

Who in your opinion are the most loyal in the world. Who have been relegated and still get FULL HOUSES. Thinking Germany, South America, Turkey etc

  13. Theres only one Jocky Scott!

You can keep your Alba cup!

SFL and you know you are!

Super Caley go Ballistic Dundee are ATROCIOUS.

BOTTLERS, AND YOU KNOW YOU ARE.

Give you millions and you still crap.

UTD FOR THE CUP - just to rub that one in

As for songs over the tanoy, Queens Champions obviously, but Dundees very own Fairground Attraction Perfect - has the lines " too many people take second best, but i wont accept anything less, its got to be PERFECT.

  14. Scott, very much appreciated everyones involvment in this project. A lot better than the 3 minutes were used to get on Sportscene last year. more action packed, or is it just were creating more chances. Could have won the game by about 7-3 looking at the amount of good chances/excellent keeping.

Doyou have some kind of log for the amount of times people are watching these highlights
