  1. Yep, dire stuff for most of the game with fringe players showing why they are such.  Fortunately for us Cowden were pretty toothless, But wait a mo... so were ICT!    Jeez it was a hard watch, Shortknob played so many passes straight back into defence or even Mackay in goal.

Delaney looked rusty, very rusty and I still don't rate Duffy very much.

Our front two Brooks and Sheriden had so little to work with, with mostly shocking passing from our midfield, that God we had some quality to enter the fray and get the win with 2 great goals.

  2. To get 3 points from a mediocre performance is really good, Especially with Morton getting a win.  Wotherspoon did well and scoring a winner was a big bonus. I presume we had players out that were not quite fit. Airdrie did their usual high workmate harassment game to stop us playing with the result that Shaw and Longridge didn't really have much effect.

The Courier have missed the point. The fans want Gardiner out. The disconnect, as frustrating as it is, is just a smokescreen.

Very true!   They (press) obviously didn't pick up the feeling during the meeting that nobody had any respect for Gardener..👹  and a few were asking if it were possible for the trust to instigate a vote of no confidence( in Gardener).

I was a wee bit shocked when Ross Thompson turned up as i thought it would have been a great opportunity for the SLO to show face!

Ross did dangle the carrot and stated that things were about to happen and watch this space kind of stuff, He wouldn't elaborate, so wait and see ( but i'm not holding my breath)

Looks like this meeting organised by the supp.trust will be a regular thing, Which will be welcome.

First home game of the season for me today.

1st half was awful for both teams not much really happened.

Second half was a lot better. We looked really good in spells and did create a lot of chances but sadly couldn't put them away. Not too sure what happened for the red card was it something he said to the ref? The new defender looked decent reminded me of a Grant Munro no mucking around at the back just clear it if there was any pressure. He was my MOTM. Austin changed the game for us when he came on looked very quick on the wing and was unlucky on a few shots he pulled off.

I'm taking away a lot of positives from that second half performance today.

Thought Samuel's was poor!  As usual he huffed and puffed but took the wrong choice, he also shot (wide) when he should have squared the ball to Mackay. Shaw was poor today  and Carson needs lessons on passing,   however a more positive display overall and the Aussie looks the part.

Our goals conceded record in the league isn't terrible, and I think we're focusing too much on the wrong end of the park.

Just a quick napkin calculation, but if we'd scored about 1 in 5 of the chances created, we'd be doing pretty well.

Yeah, All very well, but the records say we got beat (again) and we didn't score and we are still bottom of the league.  Dodds can f**k right off.

Have not seen this forum so full of sarcasm for years. Unfortunately it is being displayed out of dismay and a complete inability to do anything about the current situation. It looks like we have to grin and bear it as the damage has already been inflicted. We may have to wait some time whilst our situation festers and it may need dropping to Division One to build again. Fun Boy Three clearly don't give a feck. We are being run in the same manner as Dundee were by a charming, silent assassin - a CEO who knows more about County, both coining it in and probably keeping Dodds as a suitable stool pigeon. I am home next Saturday and for the first time ever I am considering missing the match. I am totally infuriated with all of them and am unsure that I can hold back on my anger and resentment 😡😡

Interesting, However i feel you should call into my office on Saturday on Innes Street about 1.45 and we can discuss your anxieties.

BBC stats now say that shots are 15-8 in our favour!  But that we've had only 4 on target....

    That is a shocking stat!

Same old story game after game, give away stupid goals then make a late, fruitless comeback.
