This whole sorry mess is symptomatic of the kind of shady dealing with which I have no truck. It is straight out of Westminster. It is a complete turn-off and accentuates my lack of desire to be part of the ICT story anymore.
Having said that..............I will , of course, be at Tynecastle on Saturday.
As the Kinks once said " Where have all the good times gone?"
If you are listening Board....................Some plain speaking please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just tried to put mine back to Feb 8th 2000.............................it didn't work!!
-
.........I might turn up next week

Sorry...........am I to understand that we have just had an entertaining 45 mins????
What a tube Russell!!!

I nearly laughed there

I am bored with being told by a reliable informant that what I have just been informed of, was from a reliable source. LG off to the shinty; Mee coming down from those caves way up on the hill and heading for Dingwall...............me............I think I may go and watch my local rugby side. I didn't think it would ever happen but my patience has worn very thin. Sort it out ICT or you may have seen the last of me for a good long while. Its just NOT GOOD ENOUGH

Nice to see you at Hammersmith oh tasteful one. What a blinding gig. Took along my brother-in-law. The last gig he had gone to was one Wild Willy Barrett........................................respect!

Any Brewster comments after this latest gash? I am getting increasingly sick of being told that we played well......................it never seems to match up to what I have seen on the park.

I think that many truths have been spoken on this thread. The apathy shown by previous generations of posters may well be to do with a reluctance to tear themselves away from the memories of , what seemed like, better days. Like childhood summers.......everything under Pele was great. I always said, to the point i am sure of boring everyone, that i would not follow ICT into the SPL where the rules and regs are heavily influenced by the powerful few and enforced in a bullying fashion on the "minor" clubs. Where the stadia are sterile, concrete and plastic, soulless places overseen by stewards with ideas above their station and no notion of letting people enjoy themselves, let off steam and build an atmosphere. Of course....I still go. But I do not have the same passion and do not glean as much enjoyment out of a trip as I used to. The Innes clan, and indeed the Caley Inn before it are still around but the SPL tears the heart out of football. I feel so sorry for Scotty and CaleyD for the many hours they put in to keep this ship afloat but I think these things are inextricably linked. So many times they ask for input/ suggestions and get very little or no reponse. It is up to all of us to keep the site going..............if you don't use it ....you'll lose it.
Perhaps the only thing that would really buck things up would be relegation........and we don't want that..............or do we????
Happy Birthday to DC Weeman in Washington DC

Alex.................love your optimism. I, however, am starting to despair about our continued impotence up front. what you say may well be true re all our opponents.................but we have to start playing productive football consistently and, moreover..........Brew has to start reacting to situations when things are not going our way (Sat a good case in point........200+ managers in the stands knew what was required!!!)
Top 6 would be a FANTASTIC achievement

I am smuggling a comment out from work so no report from me either I am afraid. Imrie reminds me a bit of Keogh. I suspect he has a good engine, is industrious and may have some pace ( that is a guess). Caused a fair bit of irritation when he came on playing wide left. No final product again today and i was disappointed....................we should have had that game by the scruff of the neck after an hour. As El Mantis says.........Saints were bound to score eventually as we stood off them and let them play. Brewster should have acted earlier in bringing on Bazza........Denzil was having a bad day. 2 points lost I would venture.
Nice to meet the Durness crew in the Alamo

Great news...............Good luck to y'all

Oh what a night ( another musical link for you Gringo)................How many ICT fans were there? It will never happen again.
Feels like about 8 years ago I must say. Now that Mantis has gone home we can talk about him............who's to go first?
-
..................that's all really. Very white in the Borders but I could get out if needs be. I could fair go a game!!!
( and yes this is ICT related.....................I'm not interested in going to see anyone else..............can't be a neutral)

If WE know this, then surely the club have a chance to take some action re protecting the pitch ( whatever that cuould be) or at least letting the travelling public know that there may be a problem.
-
Having just seen the weather forecast for Friday, I have to say that I think this weekends game must be in jeopardy. The pitch was unplayable tonight presumably.
However, although missing a game would be a pain in the ***, I am still definately AGAINST a winter shut down.
Lets hope I am wrong.

What a game, what an atmosphere. Another one I witnessed but I didn't realise he hit 3

Good player. **** I saw that one too!! Maybe I should stop going to games!

Just off to my scratcher after a busy night-shift. Before I go it occurred to me that I have witnessed a few hatricks against us over the seasons. Last week of course.........then there was the 4-4 Cup final with Alloa (Martin Cameron?),Billy Dods in the League Cup ( hadn't even sat down when he scored the first!). the last one i remember was Owen Coyle in a 3-4 reverse at home...........a great game with some great goals(a certain B Robson scored a scorcher that day). Any others?

Busy yesterday....................just picked up the paper.
Unbelievably tragic for Phil's family, friends and everyone connected with Scottish football. I enjoyed watching him.................in this age of cliche and sound bite, he truly was a model professional and a credit to his sport. R.I.P.

No..................you're OK David. Car load from Borders/Edinburgh will appear...................inc. Chinese rep.

I don't really want to spoil the euphoria. It was a superb afternoons entertainment with echoes of the Pele era.
However I was getting very concerned when we sat back with 20-25 mins to play and let Hearts have the ball and play a bit. There were also moments of complacent showboating. Brews substitution of Bayne for Black was puzzling and did not work for me. Niculae should definately have been hooked. Blackie (who bossed the 1st half) didn't look too chuffed.
The way we finally pushed forward and got the decider was the stuff of legends but we should have been taking the game to them for the preceding 20 mins...............not sure who was giving the orders out there.
5 in a row and I am still moaning..............there is no pleasing some people!
Well done to all.................the crowd were great too
Happy Whatsit
