  1. Absolutely fantastic effort by all at the Club and especially to the fans who turn out home and away every match. Unfortunately that is something I can no longer do. Very proud of you all. Have a great night wherever you are.........Im going to raise a glass in Espana......Cheers

A very Happy Christmas and 2026 to all involved with the club and all those who support or watch from a distance. Special thanks to those who spend so much time providing us with match profiles and updates on all things ICT. You do a terrific job.
  3. Mantis is correct. Stewart and Adamson on loan from the Rangers. Young laddie from my town in the squad too. Josh Landers (18) has just signed a contract with West Ham until 2028. He is a prolific striker with a good level head on his shoulders. Strong, pacy and knows where the onion bag is. They are like hens teeth .....good luck to them all. PS I can take him on the golf course though!

Damn. Would have made the effort for one of our great servants. Got a wedding in Yorkshire. Hope it goes well

Caley were 5/4 with the bookies that day. I cleaned up!
  8. Just received my letter re shares. Happy to oblige although I do think that some acknowledgement should be made by the club. £250 was a lot 30 years ago and I particularly enjoyed being able to get hold of priority match tickets for big match days. These days are long gone but I think those surrendering their shares should keep this benefit. A simple list would be all that is required. Anyone else feel the same?
  9. Sounds ideal Eagle. I always enjoy reading of your journeys and weekends away. You are a credit to the club support with your massive efforts to attend and Im glad you returned home having witnessed a victory.
  10. Only my second game this season. Always a pleasure going to Gayfield. They seem to have done quite a lot of work around the ground. The weather was merciful as we know what it can be like there. A sound start, moving the ball well for the first quarter. 3 extragavant 70 yard crossfield passes all hit Longstaff and on the third occasion he bore down on goal only to be foiled by a good block. Prior to that Bavidges first touch was sublime before he poked the ball just wide of the advancing keeper. Arbroath took the lead against the run of play and a quick second in effect put the game to bed. Two good saves kept us in touch in theory before half time. Arbroath were tenacious in midfield and fast to break and after half time we werent at the races. You could argue that Billy unluckily hitting the post could have breathed new life into the team but, in reality, we were outplayed by a superior team. For the home side their Luca Modric ( 5' 5"?) like number 14 buzzed around the park linking play and he impressed. 248 Caley souls was a great turn out. For me , Arbroath go up and we must buckle down and try to maintain Div 1 status. Any talk of play offs is fanciful.
  11. Got it somewhere on DVD. Think its called A Night to Remember

All the best to everyone involved for 2025.
  13. Come what may, the small shareholding I possess has given me more pleasure than I could possibly have imagined. Best money I ever spent.
  14. Tend to agree. Its been a turbulent time on and off the pitch. Clearly some of the football has fallen below the standard that supporters can reasonably expect. Very inflexible tactically. However, to be fair ,the manager has kept his head down and got on with the job, possibly for nowt, and has spoken reasonably well at times over the last few days. Credit for that. Its never nice to see someone lose their job so I wish him well.
  15. Is this meeting going to be streamed?

Yes Laura......a little much I think
  17. Great read which said it all. His passing is still hard to take in. I considered heading to Chorley today but I am in the midst of house-moving so sadly decided agianst it. Well done to those who are going......he deserved such a turn out. I cant find out if the service can be watched online but I will set my watch and pay my own private respects at 1.30. Goodbye old friend.
  18. Good luck guys................. cant be there..........give a wee extra clap from me.
  19. Sorry Don.....you're beat. A one-off. Certainly enriched my life.
  20. Oh dear. Thanks to Mantis and Yngwie for letting me know. You couldnt help but love the guy. Two instant memories are firstly, at Ayr, leading the pitch invasion chants from the stand after winning 7.0 ( I think)....until Butcher took over from him. But most of all commandeering an ambulance in Romania and administering a glucose drip for John who had hit it a bit hard that hot day. We always laughed about that. Last saw and spoke to him at Hamilton I think and noted that he appeared a bit more sedate than usual. A genuinely lovely guy whose company was always entertaining and who patently used the same clothes shops as Kirsty Wark; very knowledgable about the game as well. Its too often used ....but amongst the ICT support he was a true legend. I,ll miss you big fella.
  21. Bobby Mann
  22. My wee band played this for Mr Gardiner the other night
  23. Personally I thought we may have had a demonstration outside the ground by now with media coverage. That would definitely pile the pressure on for a statement.
  24. This story with a bit of encouragement could easily go global......certainly amongst the football fraternity. Some rich guy ,lying on a beach in Bermuda, may just pick up on it and think............I want a piece of that action. On looking up our proud history and rise to the top he decides there and then he must be involved. He phones for his jet. Its happened before. So keep up the heat and force a further resignation/sacking. This could indeed go global.
