  1. Ian did do well at Peterhead and was very harshly treated but he is untested at SPL level and would be too much of a risk in our current situation.
  2. If the rumours about Brewster's management style are even half true then the mere fact that he's gone should be inspiration enough.
  3. I've got a feeling that Dragan might just be right about the new manager not featuring in the list of candidates in the poll.
  4. Dods played against Dundee United and played well at that. Black will want to impress his new manager and is potentially our best player. Every reason why he should play tomorrow.
  5. Wont be easy but Killie are one of the few SPL clubs we seem capable of beating at present.
  6. The five games post split could be absolutely crucial if we're still in touch by then.
  7. I should have clarified on my earlier post, which came from BBC Scotland in Glasgow... To them... the term "Down South" means Engerland.... Good, Colin Calderwood it is then ! Did someone not say that Terry Butcher is based in the South of England now? Looks like we will be speculating until next week. Ah but isn't uninformed speculation such fun !
  8. I should have clarified on my earlier post, which came from BBC Scotland in Glasgow... To them... the term "Down South" means Engerland.... Good, Colin Calderwood it is then !
  9. Robbo's managerial career has had mixed fortunes but he's far from the worst candidate out there and his knowledge of ICT and our current squad might just give him an edge over someone else who would have to spend some time familiarising himself with the set up.
  10. Give them credit for acting relatively quickly following Brewster's dismissal.
  11. I can see us getting what would be a very welcome point.
  12. I'd like to think the candiadate being interviewed "down south" is Colin Calderwood.
  13. How unlucky can you get. My understanding is that ICT dids make enquiries at the time but were rebuffed both by St Johnstone and the man himself.
  14. 8 I thought it was closer to 14, great guy and a real legend , can he save us I doubt it, does he really want it I doubt it , probably his agent and him putting him in shop window again Exactly right in my opinion.
  15. Sorry I'll take that as a rap on the knuckles then !
  16. Being realistic I suppose another asset Robbo has is that he is the only manager with expeerience of getting ICT promoted from the first division. Given our current situation it's a trick he may well have to repeat next season.
  17. My only reservation about Archie Knox is that he has no recent experience of managing in the SPL and experienced pair of hands. Another who might fall into that catagory is Davie Hay.
  18. I have never seen or heard the actual quote but did Sutherland actually say that he would not be back at ICT under his watch? I don't think he's ever said that publically but that seems to be the general consensus.
  19. Mauris Malpas may well be a nice guy but the facts suggest that he's not a very good football manager.
  20. He's certainly put the ball into the club's court although I suspect that if he was their preferred candidate he would have the job by now.
  21. Not really surpsising. Coming on here in the first place will hardly have enhanced his prospects.
  22. And we could certainly do a whole lot better. What has John Robertson done since leaving ICT? Get sacked a few times for not getting results. Steven Pressley would bring some passion to the team as well as being an excellent manager. With Barry Wilson as deputy. Yeah because Steven Pressley sounds so passionate in his interviews..NOT Sounds more of a thick fecker than Brewster the Bulb And I have heard from some people in the game he is even more arrogant than Brewster That's the last thing we want just at the moment !
  23. The thought of Malpas does not insipre me.
  24. Interesting comment made by at least one of the pundits on last night's Sportsound that when Brewster was reappointed that move was highly popular with ICT fans. That's not my recollection. I seem to remember that only a minority of fans, certainly on this website, were supportive of the move.
  25. I tend to agree with those who believe thatyif Robbo was going to be the new man it would have happened by now.
