Agreed ... and agreed. One of the reasons I volunteered to write the book was to get the story out there so everything could move on. However there remains a tiny and overstated rump of refuseniks who unfortunately, and especially on here, emerge from their blue and white phone box on Telford Street and their even more thinly populated black and red one on Kingsmills Road to persist with vastly overstated claims that this remains some kind of controversial issue.
And of course we need memories of the continuous thread of traditions of Inverness football which goes right back to the 1880s and remains unbroken today.
Pity you never took your own advice and moved on I suggest North Korea there you might just make a friend or two

The really sad thing is the young team and section g before them have had warning after warning after warning regarding their anti social behaviour
Let's face it there's is no getting through to silly little boys who don't want to listen or take any advice on board
These boys have sadly been radicalised by watching films like football factory and green street
Afraid the argument regarding the atmosphere doesn't wash anymore when they are destroying the good name of the club

Oh, I don't know Dougal. I would have thought that there were more people persuaded to vote for independence by the antics of those t*ssers than there are supporters of the Orange Order.
The SNP are on the decline while the DUP are now in the strongest position they have ever been in
Independence2 won't happen now well not in my lifetime, seems I was right regarding the Orange Order or of course it could just be a massive coincidence?

It's simple fan power whether verbally or on social media made the board change their mindset and every fan who contributed by stalling buying tickets should take a bow
Hopefully now the present board will at least think before they act in the future
Im sure the club will honour the paltry few who had already bought their season ticket before the change of heart with the discounted refund
Caley 100, Huisdean etc no need to thank me

We've just got an old manager back, I just don't get this fascination from some fans to want previous players back as well
Too many people live in the past when its the future we should be concentrating on

Fking terrible idea. Only increases the stranglehold of the big clubs. Plus imo there are too many clubs in Scotland as it is, this would just make some of the smaller ones even less sustainable.
It might give some fans the opportunity to sing the sash and do the bouncy without making the trip to Ibrox though I guess

An underwhelming appointment in my opinion but we need to remember we are no longer a top flight side so someone who knows the club, knows the support and who has previously lived in Inverness are all positives in my eyes
The important thing now is for everyone to get fully behind Robbo and give him our support as this is possibly going to be the most important season that ICT have ever had
Without doubt he has a huge job in front of him and I just pray he gets sufficient funds to get players in because without investment there will be no hope for an imminent return to the SPFL
Anyway I wish him all the very best

This forum is totally unbelievable once again if you don't conform to happy clapping you get personal abuse by the establishment
Always amazed how mods seem to turn a blind eye to some of the vitriol that gets directed my way just as well I'm thick skinned I guess and have never used the report function
To get accused by fellow fans about my loyalty to ICT by those that freely admit they have big teams or supported other teams in the past just doesn't sit well with me
Im not going to name these low life's as I don't want to stoop to their level but I could list screeds of posters on here that fall into that very bracket
My point regarding season tickets still holds I think it's crazy buying a ticket at the moment my advice would be to wait nearer the start of the season that way it might just make the board think that unless their mind sets change they should also step down and let foreword thinking people in

Let's hope the class of 2004 had a great night out catching up and reminiscing about the great days of yore
Think we have all been there where we get lumbered by an elderly drunken bam spouting mundane p1sh which puts a dampener on the evening
Would certainly have been very interesting hearing these guys take on ICT at the moment but I would never force my way into their personal space

Yes the season ticket is more than I was expecting but I will be renewing it and I urge everybody who can to renew also. The club needs us more than ever at this point. The new Chairman and Board have made a tough but correct decision with Richie Foran and they must now get it right with the new manager but in the meantime we as fans must give them the benefit of the doubt and show out unity and support by buying season tickets and showing our support in anyway we can.
Your attitude epitomises everything that is wrong with certain sections of the ICT support
The boards decision to freeze ticket prices to SPFL prices is an absolute disgrace but as long as belters like yourself just accept it well then they can get away with anything they want and they will continue to do so in the future
Sadly we don't have football men in the boardroom anymore and it's obvious they can't communicate with the ordinary fan
We will never know how many season tickets will be down this year because the board don't have the balls to release figures but it will be substantial due to this ludicrous decision whether you buy one or not

Astonishing that season ticket prices have been frozen but it possibly backs up the rumours regarding the financial state the club are possibly facing due to relegation
14 miles north you can watch your Celtic,Rangers,Aberdeens etc for £200 but we pay over £330 to see Brechin City
Theres something far wrong, only an utter moron would buy a season ticket at the moment at that sort of cost without knowing who the manager and the playing staff were

Well it won't be Malpas as he confirmed off the record that he will not be at the club in any capacity next season and that comes from a very reliable source

Finance will be required next season and we should be very grateful to the business men who finance the club but it should also be up to "the little guys" also. If every true fan, or almost true fan gave £100 - everyone who went to Hampden for example - it would add a reasonable amount of money for the Championship challenge. It would need some organising. They could also speak to the local shops bars and businesses.

From what I'm hearing from a good source County are possibly going to field a number of their development squad tomorrow night seems they haven't forgiven ICT for lying down to Forfar in 1997 preventing them automatic promotion
Will certainly be very interesting to see what their starting line up is, having said that their development starting line up could probably beat Accies first team

You heading back to Tannadice next season then?
Could be a few twists and turns yet before it's decided which leagues both teams will be in

Home Baking used to be the norm on the Caleyjagsforever buses, now with the new name(ICT supporters travel club) maybe it's also the ideal opportunity for a change of direction regarding entertainment

Sad thing is County have also had an absolutely dreadful season and their fans have also being shouting for their manager duo to be sacked up until the last few weeks
To get humped so badly in a derby with no fight no passion and no bad tackles tell me our players have already given up the ghost and knew relegation was already on the horizon
Draper and McKay should have been the first two names on the starting line up, the dressing room is obviously in turmoil
Also the so called young team, how many times do they need to be told to not let off smoke bombs?
Whoever the moron was that threw one on when we were about to take the corner should be banned from ICT games for life let's be honest they have become an absolute embarrassment to this club the fact that some defend them because they create an atmosphere no longer cuts it with me
If we do indeed go down let's hope they go and follow either sides of the old firm where their antics will be more welcome

I think we would need serious backers first supplemented by fans input.
Fans alone wouldn't be enough unless a few hundred fans want to contribute a few thousand year on year.
CaleyD would probably state the pros and cons as to who could/ should be involved.
Why would CaleyD have anymore idea than the next punter?
Like Caleyjagsforever he seems to disappear from CTO when there's no topics available to happy clap on

Foran ain't going anywhere, say what you want about Richie but he ain't no quitter
I reckon he's already been told that he will be leading the team in the championship next season and that he probably knew before taking this job that relegation was a distinct possibility at the start of this campaign
A lot of folk were seething about the way Hughes left but I think Yogi had a good idea what was coming

Apart from carrying the worries of his home town club I always felt Charlie suffered from the stress of the public scrutiny while we were bottom of the SPL (as was). I'm sure he'd do a more than decent job in the Championship.
MrMantis I agree with you
Problem with Charlie is he could never cope with criticism either as a player or a manager and walking into this sort of situation, well the pressure and scrutiny he would be under would be intense and I doubt he could handle it
I personally don't think his outburst to the press is touting for the managers job but more with what's going on financially behind the scenes

I personally thought caleyjagsforever had packed it all in, I've always found it odd when things on and off the field weren't going well they always seemed to do a disappearing act a bit like some of the happy clappers
Anyway good to see CakeyD back he must have had one of the best floral gardens in Sneck this summer
