I'm pretty sure I remember reading match reports from our games where he got several players' names wrong and even attributed goals to the wrong people. Not the most incisive of sports writers.

How's the donation side of things coming along? I'd gladly give up some cash on a regular basis to help ease the financial pain.

Honestly, as crap as some of the referee's decisions were, we got what we deserved. We had moments of decent passing and build up but on the whole we were absolutely dire- of all the long balls that got fired upfield I think I counted maybe one or two that reached their intended targets. If the decision to get rid of Munro was predicated on his inability to pass the ball out of defence, then why the hell are we hoofing it at every opportunity?

I can only echo other comments about how awful we were today. As Renegade says, what happened to the passing football we were promised? It was painful to watch. Definitely time to give Sutherland a shot up front, maybe have Tade coming on as a sub and playing on the wing? I don't want to be entirely negative- Tansey looked as though he'll be a real asset, Piermayr was decent and Ross was pretty effective when he came on, but IMHO those were the only positives to take from that match. At least we'll beat Rangers next week :P

The two players that stick out in my mind are McCann, who made a few crucial interventions and Ross, who seemed to be in the right place at the right time on a number of occasions. Bit gutted we didn't show much in the second half but I definitely think that we have a lot of positives to take from that game.

Surely Foran will sign up now? Especially considering his history with Butcher
