  1. There have been some interesting initiatives from the club since this thread was started. Well done I.C.T!
  2. Reads the game well but doesn't react quick enough when turned on his right side. Also, a bit slow when trying to make up ground.
  3. Impressed by new signings today against Coventry. Can't read too much into pre season games but they all played their part in a pleasing performance. Like the look of Draper who always seemed to have time to do what HE wanted. Can fairly hit a ball too!
  4. As well as newcomers to the area the idea could be extended to families who have lived here for ages. Courier could support this by photographing players handing tickets over to families. Why not 5 different families per game. Great P.R!
  5. Proctor, on 14 July 2012 - 01:43 PM, said: What about a link with local estate agents? We may be in a recession but there have been a lot of people from down south moving up to Inverness, what if when a house was sold the buyer was given a handfull of tickets for a family/couple for example for two or three home games. If they use the tickets then we have extra people in our stadium who may buy pies/programmes etc. They may enjoy themselves and appreciate the welcome to the area from the club. If they attend matches in the future or buy season tickets then it is a bonus. I think this is a brilliant idea. It would be a really nice gesture from the club that would create a lot of good will from the people who received the tickets and it wouldn't cost much if anything at all. Really like this idea too. How about a player, in club tracksuit, hand delivering the tickets.
  6. Where is the red? Many fans will not be impressed by this effort!
  7. http://www.celticquicknews.co.uk/?p=9840 Other's thoughts.
  8. This has probably been done before but I thought I'd get the ball rolling by coming up with a few ideas to market I.C.T. Some of these ideas may be good, some crap. Please feel free to add more. Players go into to local secondary schools with the intention of supporters clubs being started within the schools. These supporters clubs, once established, could be given special rates on tickets etc for all members. They could be seated in same part of stadium. Each secondary school supporters club could be given a flag by the club that could be taken to games. Open day at the stadium before season starts with a meet and greet the players thing going on. This has been done in the past - does it still happen? Meet with local Amateur Association to forge links. There musty be 500 amateur players in the Sneck. Amateur cup final to be played at the stadium. No silly own goal statements from club!
  9. Your neighbour in the next door construction is a Mr Ratner.
  10. Haven't posted here in years but feel compelled to share views/frustrations etc.My family have been season ticket holders for many years now but we weren't really impressed by the football on display last season and one or two other issues including e.g release of certain players and the lottery of signing a number of untried players at S.P.L level made us feel that the club was turning away from its roots. As a consequence we deliberated on whether or not to purchase tickets for this coming season. Today's statement by our club chairman has really surprised/dismayed/astonished me and It's made me wonder what on earth is going on. Was this sanctioned by the entire board? This is a major league faux pas and can only have a detrimental effect on I.C.T. As well as alienating fans/chairman of 25 clubs in the S.F.L and fans of S.P.L clubs it is like scoring a spectacular own goal against I.C.T fans. Where is the logic? As for buying season tickets- Watching Clach or dare I say it shopping looks ever more attractive as I still try to work out the reasoning for the STATEment!
