Question from an old Hibs fan
Can anyone shed light in the question below? Hi I'm a Hibs fan from Edinburgh and am trying to get some info on the then Caley goalie Jimmy Smith . I have this memory of Caley getting hammered 2-8 by Elgin in the last game of the season .. My dad was from Inverness and my mum from Nairn ( she's a Tulloch) We lived in the Middle East and my dad was a Caley fan. On one holiday back to the UK he took me to my first proper football game( I was 11) and remember being devastated as he'd built Caley up to be the best ETA - it was the 64/65 season

IMPORTANT- CHANGE OF TRAIN 2 RETURN TIME
Please note that we have been informed that train 2 will leave Glasgow Queen Street to return to Inverness at 1752 (i.e. the same time as train 1) should the game finish in normal time or 1852 if there is ET/penalties. Please make sure that you make it on time! Also please note that there will likely be police on both trains (and others that day) and it is possible that supporters buses heading down will be checked by police. Many thanks.

Bus Capacity for League Cup Final
Scotrail were kind enough to offer us a third train should we want or need it. Unfortunately CJT are not in a position to take this on for a range of reasons. Will be running 2 trains and no more, even if train 2 is full. However as it stands there is more than enough room on train 2 for supporters and we would love to see you onboard. Remember it includes onward travel! Prices are £30 adult / £10 U16s. Please book by emailing [email protected] stating how many adult / child tickets you need along with names and a contact number. We are hoping to have a paypal set up to book tickets with shortly. Thank You.

Bus Capacity for League Cup Final
CJT Travel Update Caley Jags Together are very happy to announce that we have managed to secure 3 more buses to the League Cup Final. We would like to kindly thank Tulloch Homes for helping to assist with the funding for this. Everyone who is currently on the bus waiting list will get a seat allocated. You should be contacted within the next 24 hours to confirm this. If you are not contacted within this time please get in touch by emailing [email protected] There will be a very limited amount of extra seats remaining once these are filled by the waiting list. Please use the email address should you wish to book these (not the phone number thanks). Note that once these buses are filled, there will be no more buses run by Caley Jags Together. There is plenty of capacity on the supporters trains, with the first almost full and a second available. The train offers great value at £30 for an adult, £10 for a child for a return journey. Price includes onward travel from Queen Street Station to Bellgrove Station which is then a 10/15 minute walk to Celtic Park. Train tickets can be booked through either texting the travel number on 07951 309 504 (remember to mention how many child/adult tickets are needed, names and a contact number) or preferably by emailing [email protected] Please don't book using both methods. Also there will be on cash only sale this Sunday (2nd of March) 12 – 3pm in the Sports Bar at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium and also before and after the Dundee Utd game on March 9th from the same place. Booked bus tickets can also be paid for at these times. A valid match ticket will be required for each person to travel on both the trains and buses. Many Thanks
