It's all over the place. How an indoor cinema is safer than being in an open air stadium with masks on is beyond me. Or a pub at 1m distancing with no mask on...
-
Sorry but people living in caravans are not a race.
-
I particularity like how those clubs mention that litigation could prove financially ruinous for them. After voting to cause financial ruin to other clubs. Zero self awareness
-
It might go along the lines of what the French courts ruled. In that relegation was unlawful but it was up to the French FA to decide the next steps.
-
Oh deary me. What a bunch of whiners. Why can't they just accept their enforced relegation and job losses and move on? The most important thing to remember through all this is that Celtic got their title awarded to them so Scottish Football will be alright. Partick should just take there medicine as Saint Roy says and unite behind each other. For the good of the game! /sarcasm That last paragraph was very juicy from the statement. Bang on https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/local-sport/albion-rovers-gaffers-birthday-relief-22198675.amp?fbclid=IwAR3cYQ3YxCXk4v7jdAxsQRiSKrUcjJ_s_6QtKKcVaAcbg-oTxjuBGWSBrms Just read this too. Remind me again why Strachan was hounded for saying their is a lack of professional clubs in Scotland?
-
And in the process relegate Stranraer and leave them with no players on contract!
-
How much money were lower league clubs projected to lose from the proposed 10 team league structure versus the current structure of 10 team leagues? How much extra money do clubs now have thanks to the generosity of a hearts backing philanthropist?

Belgium had a vote among clubs if i remember correctly. And they have also had it overturned in court.
-
https://www.heartsfc.co.uk/news/article/club-statement-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 Confirmation that Hearts are perusing legal action. Good news. Hopefully make those clubs squirm if it affects cash flow.
-
Absolutely. Although will be much harder now with Hearts in the league. I predict a runaway leader like we had with united this season unfortunately. But maybe we can get to work on some signings now.
-
Reconstruction is over. only 16 clubs voted in favour which is much worse than i thought. It means plenty of league 1 & 2 clubs would have voted against a 10 team league for themselves and instead will now remain with.... a 10 team league. Absolute madness. Lets hope Hearts go legal now. Will gladly watch some of these clubs suffer.
-
Just makes it all the more damming on the clubs that vote against reconstruction.
-
Absolutely. It just irks me that a club like Elgin. Who have zero ambition and have NEVER left the bottom division and have no desire to given that the proposals they enthusiastically reject would see them into league 1. Would seek to pull down a club like ourselves that punch regularly above our weight. Have won the most prestigious cup in Scotland on probably one of the lowest budgets a team would have. Not to mention the amount of players we have progressed. Where would Aberdeen be without the players they poached of us? THAT is what we bring to the league.
-
I need to stop listening to Sportsound. The amount of diddy chairman that come on. Elgin chairman today couldn't form a coherent sentence about why he doesn't want reconstruction at all. "eh eh eh eh eh stability" and "eh eh eh eh eh status quo" We shall see how the status quo works when his club hopefully goes bust. Dragging Scottish football down. They offer nothing to the league.
-
Doesn't sound too bad. Anything that breathes life (and money) into the lower leagues is a good thing. The current dross there are stagnant with no ambition (looking at you Elgin) and need a kick up the backside. I was very impressed with the Rangers colts when we played them earlier this year.
-
Phase 3 in Scotland does allow for limited crowds at stadiums so fingers crossed
-
Restarting football might involve forced reconstruction.
-
Lachlan Cameron is a complete and utter bampot. He's also a trump loon. Ayr are a club with no ambition. He said to the record he would be voting against the proposal because its not fair only promoting us. As if his team could ever make it to the premiership with their dump of a stadium anyway. Clubs like that are dragging Scottish football down.
-
Deary me. If you actually believe we would support null and void thereby costing our club 100K then i don't know what to say. Goodwill DOES NOT EXIST in Scottish Football. Clubs happily voted yes to save their skins and relegate Partick and ruin them financially. The most unjust relegation of all the clubs. They don't care.
-
Possibly. A lot of the championship clubs seem to have a diddy mentality (Ayr comes to mind). And voting to keep hearts in the championship so they can run riot at their grounds must sound a treat to them. Also honorary mention to Elgin who have already confirmed they are voting to deny themselves promotion to league 1. I can understand where Strachan is coming from with his comments now. As i said...diddies
-
It makes far too much sense. Which is why it will be voted down. Clearly having three leagues that can't play any football is better than two leagues. /sarcasm
-
All i seen was a diddy chairman arguing that clubs should shut up and take their enforced relegation because people are dying? I dont see the correlation.
-
No doubt he will be hounded for that. Even though he is bang on
-
We never had any influence. We are a small club by any standards with one of the lowest budgets in the championship. And lets all not forget the clubs are business's at the end of the day. The bottom line is the bottom line. And money talks. Not "good will" In regards to an inquiry. You think their should be zero accountability then? I think its very telling how all those clubs who accused us of lying on the same day voted down an inquiry (at no extra cost) to figure out the facts. And if the facts came to show that their was no impropriety of course we would have to accept it. We wouldn't have a leg to stand on then. You shouldn't be hoodwinked into believing what those with green tinted glasses say. From what i've seen our master plan was that we wanted to Null and void the season and deny our club £200K and then make baseless allegations against the SPFL Which we would then call for an independent investigation so it can all be revealed to be a massive fabrication on our part therefore doing immense damage to our club. Sounds about right.... The livingston statement today i feel had this spot on. Calling for an inquiry. But also lamenting the sham reconstruction talks. And then mentioning the afflicted clubs who lose out because of this. Namely the relegated clubs and those in play off positions. Who are all seemingly told to shut up and eat your cereal and get on with it. Because the real crime would be no promotion or relegation apparently?
