Robbo was saying after the Morton game that he will be making a raft of changes for Saturday's game with Harper, MacGregor, Trafford, Welsh and Storey all starting. Maybe a bit of a risk as the league cup is a potential money spinner and morale booster.  However, we do have a bit of depth and those coming into the side will be anxious to prove themselves.

Were not in the league cup. The wafer cup is nearly as diddy as this

So has Ridgers (allegedly). I don't think we can read anything into house moves as definitive signs that players are coming or going.

Ridgers house is not on market, I know this as I live 50 meters from him, well at least there's no sign outside his house anyway

  3. No offence intended but this poll is mental.

It's the Scottish cup semi-final, regardless who our opponents are it's gotta be hampden.

The goal from the 1st round you enter, as players as well as fans, is to get to Hampden , that's the dream

Also Dingwall or mcdairmaid would be shi*

  4. On official site that the transfer of the stadium is finally complete and are looking also for new sponsors as tullochs have agreed to the removal of their name as part of it.

Also stating we should now be In a far healthier position financially.

Anyway what brands do people think would be good to sponsor the stadium now.

  5. Are the 2 oversized lean too's worth anything at all in reality.

Couple of stands with zero facilities between them have no value at all surely.

No toilets no refreshments  no anything, neither of which are any more than 33% full these days I just do not know what all the fuss is about.

Unless the land itself has any kind of value then I fail to see why we are still waiting on confirmation of owning them.

  6. I hope after reading and hearing what the man went through with his illness people get off his back.

He genuinely wants to help our team do well and he's if nothing else not short on effort as well as being our current top scorer this season.

Let's for once try and get behind all our players at the business end of the season, we still have a great chance of the playoffs and his goals are going to be crucial.

I dont see the tv picking our game for tv bbc alba don't even choose it in the league. Hearts v auchinleck and east Fife v Patrick thistle will be the tv picks and the Celtic or rangers  games on premier sports. Neither us nor county are big enough teams. And even if all assumed 6000 attendance paid adult 15 at least half would be juveniles students oap etc at 5 quid a ticket not a money spinner in any way shape or form boring tie.

There's literally no chance East Fife v Partick gets a tv slot.

If the highland derby dosent make one of the BBC games I'll eat Alan Simpson's regurgitated toe nail.

Us and them are far bigger than East Fife and at least as big as fecking Partick.

Just hope it dosent stop the caravan park from being full for the gate receipts cumin our way

There is absolutely nothing in what I wrote which in any way condones what Calder did.  What we shouldn't do, however, is rush to judgements when we don't know all the facts.  From the report, the facts are clearly not as clear cut as your summary would suggest.  In fact, the report paints a rather bizarre picture and there are clearly gaps which may have a bearing and which presumably will be known to the courts and will be taken into account in sentencing.

Yes he knew the victim.  He dropped her off at her car.  She then, for some reason or by accident drove her car into his.  The report doesn't say whether this incident happened at the point where he dropped her off or at some later point after they had both driven off.  The report says that following the collision they agreed to drive to a pub car park.  That means that immediately after the collision they must have had a discussion.  One can imagine he was pretty annoyed  but there is no suggestion that he was in any way threatening to her at that point, indeed, had he been, then why would she have agreed to drive to a pub car park?  There is no information in the report which says whether they got out of the cars at the point of collision - perhaps they spoke on their mobiles and agreed to drive to the car park and look at any damage there.

At the car park Calder punched her through her car window.  When she got out of the car he is reported to have hit her with a shoe / thrown a shoe at her.  What shoe?  Did he stop to take off one of his own shoes to hit her?  Or perhaps when he went to talk to her, she tried to hit him with her shoe?  After all, many women will remove high heeled shoes for driving.  He claimed he was acting in self defence so presumably he told the court what he was claiming he was defending himself from, but that is not reported.  Did she try to hit him with the shoe which perhaps he took off her and later threw back at her. Did she say something to provoke him?  What caused him to lose the plot?  We simply don't know the answers to any of these questions.

Let's be clear.  None of the unknowns I have outlined can possibly excuse Calder's behaviour, but they may help explain it and may influence the sentencing decision.  I would expect the club will have far more  detail about the incident than we will ever know.  I hope the club will make a statement tomorrow but I would also expect them not to rush to making any decisions other than a suspension until after sentencing.

    What the f**k u on?

Just when you think this is great stuff they go and make a mess of it. If they had tried  a little harder we could of lost that game.

What kinda **** is this. We've just won. Still unbeaten in league in god knows how low long and overtaken league leaders to go top ahead of derby match against previous league leaders.

    Try and enjoy it bigman
