  1. I am sure that county's promotion had an effect on attendance at TCS. Hopefully when they are relegated or the novelty wears off then things might pick up. It's the quality of our support that I find more disappointing than the quantity.I can't understand how a couple of hundred at an away match can make more noise that the entire main stand at TCS where the attitude seems to be 'Will you please be quiet I'm trying to watch a football match'

For some reason I seen this and instantly it reminds me of the start of Burley's Scotland reign.

We all know how that worked out.

Looks like a man possesed Caption for this in Daily Record says Butcher wants Hibs to be hated. Success already in such a short time.

  3. Never liked Butcher much before he came to ICT due to association with other club and country and Burley's miserable Scotand reign but enjoyed the success he brought and respected his media savvy. He has completely lost any respect I had for him following his disgraceful behaviour and derogatory comments about ICT faclities and fans. Billy Big Time seems to think he'll be welcome back any time. I wonder what sort of reception he'll get when he brings his big time boys up for their next football lesson at TCS?

  4. Foran has a key role to play - that's for sure. it was a nice touch yesterday when he encouraged the players over to the fans at the end. Hopefully Terry stays and we can put all of this chat to rest though.

No chance. He has burned his bridges and would not be welcome back anyway after his behaviour yesterday.I agree that a coaching role Foran is key to preventing him from following Butcher in January.

  5. I would have thought that either at the point that the Board gave permision for Butcher to talk with Hibs or when Butcher and Hibs agreed terms and informed our Board, the Board would effectively have put Butcher's contract on hold.  At that point he is not doing the job he is contracted to do and therefore should not be paid. If that was the case then it would be reasonable for him to state that he is a neutral for the game.

But what I find distasteful is the fact that he was at the ground with the Hibs Board and yet still there is no announcement.  The very fact that he was there in those circumstances was a clear statement of what the position is, so why not just make a verbal statement? All that needed to be said is that personal terms have been agreed and that a further statement will be made following discussion between the clubs regarding compensation.  If he didn't want to say that, he should simply have stayed away.

Inverness fans and the Board have been very supportive to Butcher over the years but his antics this week show him in a very bad light.  He's a big boy at a big club now so he thinks he can treat those at the little club who have been supportive of him with disdain.  Complete lack of class.

Yes his behaviour today has left a very bad taste. He is in danger of setting himself up as a hate figure which is a shame after the work he has done. He could potentially have unsettled the players who fortunately showed great professionalism. No one is bigger than the club. Good riddance.

  6. After a large Glenfiddich I have seen into the future and it is thus: TB gets caught in revolving door at Easter Rd before twilight career in TV punditry. Mo and Marshmallow take over at TCS and after embarrassing defeat on Saturday due to Butcher sabotage, lead Caley

    to unbetold glories.
