Any word on a penalty for Raith Rovers’ Davidson who’s case was delayed?
Nothing on the SFA site yet.
Just in - according to Raith’s site, 4 game ban (2 suspended) and has to go on a FIFA course before being able to play again.

Good news and entirely expected. But does this pave the way for another club to sign him up safe in the knowledge that he won’t be starting the season with a lengthy ban?
Yeah, that worries me too...

Toddy has had his case dismissed.

Gardyne released too, I'd take him if he was willing. Billy and Draper can fek off though
Gardyne? No thanks

Unfortunately it's too early for fans to be allowed in, but apparently it's not too hard to see into the ground from outside...
Dumbarton is in level 2, thought you could have 500 fans no questions asked, more if you asked and had an acceptable plan? If so, this is pretty poor from the SFA.

What is the likelihood that the new head coach, very possibly in his first manager role, will immediately be better than Robbo/McCann were?
Calum Davidson hasn't done badly in his first season!

I was robbed!
But seriously, congratulations @IBM

Well, judging from the last time we had an inexperienced manager in the hot seat, I think it'd be a wise idea to get someone experienced...
I do wonder what would have happened if Foran had had some experienced help. Someone with less experience, but having the safety net of an experienced sporting director could be a good thing.
That said, if we can persuade the interims to become permanents, I'd sign up for that!

I like the sound of this, and had wondered if this was how it would pan out.
Robbo has had a reasonable hit rate with player recruitment, and if we can get a management team who can get us playing like we were during Robbo's hiatus, this could be a win-win situation.
If we can get McCann & Dodds, I may spontaneously combust...

Don't trust the BeeB
When it comes to Scottish football, quite. Unless you are part of the Glasgow bigot-fest, their reporting is marginally better than fiction.

One thing missed out is that Raith Rovers submitted a letter of defence of Iain Davidson last month.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56499950
Whether something contained in that has had any effect on the charges we don't know. Why would it take the SFA 2 weeks to act though if the letter was submitted last month?
Davidson’s hearing isn’t til Thursday, so it’s not like something has come out of that.

Four weeks ago we were more concerned with avoiding relegation than the promotion race.
Now we are right in the playoff promotion mix and Todorov is scoring regularly and suddenly this comes up.
Something stinks - 4 weeks to raise a citation?

Never been a fan of Billy Dodds. Rapidly revising that opinion.
Yeah, was a bit ‘meh’ about the interims, but am more than happy to eat my humble pie!

That was tense. Shaw should have been booked in the first minute. Deliberate trip missed by Nick Walsh.

It would be a welcomed return IMO, like they did by showing the highlights of games from the 'lower' leagues during the period 2012-16.........
Remind me, was there any particular reason for this sudden interest in football outside the SPL (as was)?
