Born in Inverness, spent much time on the Black Isle (School Holidays), lived in Albion Square,Celt Street, St. Ninian Drive. Attended Inverness Central until June 1953. (Head Master was Mr. Fraser, our last teacher was Henrietta McKillop?) Emigrated to Canada (Montreal) in Dec 1953.  Attended Lachine High School where I met the love of my life and best friend, Marg Carfra. Attended Sir George Williams University in Montreal then joined the Canadian Army in 1965. Married in 1966, posted to Germany with The Royal Canadian Regiment 1967.

Visited Inverness on leave Aug 1967. (Last time there). Did 25 years in The RCR (Infantry/Para) including 6years in 2 Special Service Force.) Retired in London Ontario 1987. (Did a couple of courses in the UK one in Ashford, Kent and one in Herefordshire.) Also did a bit of work with 2 Para.

Moved to present location in 1992 and owned a Restaurant Franchise for 10 years. Now with my wife in Real Estate sales. I have no intention of ever retiring.
