Any pitch inspection planned or risk of it being off? Heard there's no trains on northbound so issues for the Thistle fans

The train cancellations were announced yesterday due to the amber weather warning.

The club has just announced the game is on with no pitch inspection currently planned.

So far the game at Elgin is off with inspections planned at Dundee and Bonnyrigg.

  2. I’m looking forward to the game tomorrow and seeing how we approach the game.

It will be a tough one but one we can win.

I just hope the weather doesn’t make it a lottery or affect the attendance (the trains from the central belt are cancelled).

Let’s get behind Big Dunc and the players and help them get another three points.

And top marks to big Dunc for coming over to the fans and showing his delight at the end 👏

That’s great to read and see. We need his passion and it’s great he appreciates our fans. I don’t think we’ve seen that consistently since Butcher’s time (I accept Yogi did occasionally).

A good start, now let’s kick on and put a run together.

  4. A big day ahead for big Dunc, the players, fans and club.

Three points may be too much to hope for but I hope we get them.

Whatever the outcome, I hope to read positive reports later from those able to be there.

After a couple of decent recent performances, with no points, adding a new regime is what we need to turn things round, hopefully starting today.

The season and our view of big Dunc is not solely dependent on today: this is just the start.

Keith Bray has opened the scoring.

    And that was it!

Given 9 of the starting 11 are in the first team squad, I’d have expected a much more convincing score.

Anyone who attended able to comment?

But it was a clean sheet…..

  6. According to the club this game has been rescheduled from 1500 on 18 November to 1500 on 18 November!

I assume it is being moved to the Friday for TV but that is a guess by me.

In case they correct the wording in the link, I copied this just now:

  7. On Saturday, Nathan Austin for East Fife and Jordan Roberts for Stevenage.

It was Scottish Cup first round day, with Ethan Cairns scoring for Forres, Andrew MacAskill for Buckie and Andrew MacRae getting a hat trick for Brora.

  8. Having slept on last night’s rumour and reacted this morning by predicting it will end in tears, I’ve had time to reflect.

It is a bold appointment, and has a lot of risk about it.

However, he will stand up to the CEO and Board, which must be a positive.

He was highly rated as a coach at Everton and nearly went to Real Madrid in a coaching role, so he clearly has strengths.

Forest Green was a disaster for him but probably would have been for whoever had the job.

He’s here now, so he has my support. During the next few weeks I hope he earns my continued support.

As I said after Saturday’s game, there is hope!

Going by the ICT official website Robert this game is tomorrow (Tuesday) night??!

This is the link I had:

    https://ictfc.com/north-of-scotland-cup-fixture-rothes-a-27-09-2023/

As mentioned above other sources all say Wednesday, so this bit of the club’s website is wrong:

    https://ictfc.com/calendar/fixtures/

But you and IBM have neatly summed the issue up. Once again the club’s communication is found to be lacking!
