  1. So, the ICT ST had a meeting with the club. The club said they intended appointing a SLO in the future. The club asked for your help but you said you were not in a position to help. The club dropped the idea for now. You got your feelings hurt.

    Does that about cover it?

Verbal contracts are binding under most legal systems the world over.....FIFA rules do not overrule the law of the land in ANY jurisdiction, despite what they might think!

Yes but FIFA only recognise signed contracts and their stipulation posted by you would not apply.

Of course not....they've said it's subject to a medical, which FIFA say you can't do!

You've read it wrong, the contract can not stipulate subject to etc.

Currently, there is no contract and although in many cases a verbal contract is binding in Scotland, this is outwith the remit of FIFA as they cannot legislate for individual countries.

FIFA transfer regulations stipulate a contract must be signed and a verbal offer does not constitute a legally binding contract.

County unveal their kit next to the water whereas we do it on a boat next to Urquhart Castle.

    ICT - just better.

That goes for the kit too!

I truly despair at folk on here's views of Vigurs.  He is a superb footballer and will be a huge loss to us - anyone who thinks otherwise clearly doesn't really get football at all.

    Well said.

  6. Very disappointed to see Vigurs leave, he has been outstanding this season.

Of course the "fans" who constantly shouted abuse at him in the first half of the season will be happy now and can turn their rancid hatred back to Polworth who will no doubt follow......

Liam Polworth is 23 years old and has already played something like 3 or 4 times the number of games that Munro had played at the same age and at a higher level as well.

Just because a player has played an important part in the progress and successes of ICTFC since 1994 does not necessarily mean they would rank among our most talented players.  Charlie Christie is probably a prime example of that.  A good player for the level we were at during his time, but there are many who have played for us at a higher level who would be considered "better" players, IMO.

C'mon guys, don't let facts get in the way of some good old Polly bashing :laugh::laugh:

Polworth now has 21 assists in all competitions this season.  He's also scored four goals.  We've scored 59 goals in all competitions, meaning that he has had a direct hand in 42% of our goals.  That's not taking into account other goals that he's had a hand in, such as the goal of the season against Dundee Utd at Tannadice.  I haven't gone through and confirmed it but he's probably had a hand in half our goals.

He could've scored all 59 goals and it still would'nt be enough for some of the Aholes who shout abuse every week. It's only when he goes, and he will, that his contribution that so many are blind to, will be recognised.

i have absolutely no enthusiasm to go to cup final as i am expecting a drab, shambolic performance ahead Priority is staying in this league but it wont get any better without the parachute payment next season.

If supporting a team is about winning and glory might I suggest you support one of the top four in the Premier? Real supporters stick with their team through thick and thin and will be at the Cup Final because thats what we do.

Highland Clearances as described elsewhere is not good for Highland football. Something seriously wrong over the bridge but Agent Draper and Secret Agent Fox now bringing the derbies closer by the minute. Despite a very high wage and lots of cash to bring in quality players, Coyle maybe has a better off field image than McIntyre, but he is showing he too is an ICT Special Agent.  Special Agents Rooney, Shinnie and Christie all played their part last night.

You forgot to mention deep cover relegation specialist B. McKay.

So all the Vigurs and Polworth doubters? Hows it going without them?

Is it worth starting a thread, The Jake Murlraney Enigma?
H.I.S. are doing a good deal on pitch forks, just ask for the Mulraney special

I've seen it suggested somewhere that Austin is on £800 p/w.  You'd imagine Bell is probably on about 500ish.

Most of the guys we are getting in noware on (a few) hundred(s) rather than the very low thousands a good few were on in the Premiership.

Speculating on players wages is crass and low-class. Players wages are no ones business but their own and regurgitating "what you've heard," is just stupid. Unless of course you lead by example and post your salary?
