I’m hearing that Citylink are adding a journey to Hampden returning after the game. I will try to get details and share them. It has the added advantage that concession card holders (both young and senior / disabled) will only need to pay the £1 booking fee to reserve their seats so they don’t have to pay the fare.

I will try to get details tomorrow and share them.

Many thanks I’ll keep an eye out. I’ve noticed megabus have a 8,45 option now. But if game finishes at 7.15 without extra time to get out of Hamden and back to Buchanan street would still be really hard that would be without applauding players at end. Injury time etc

  2. Well pretty much exhausted all the options. Supporters travel club. On their list probably not much hope. Public transport not possible trying to hire a minibus. Like hens teeth.  How long does it take to walk 😀 Are others having problems getting transport . Car is an option even thought about taking bike but would it still be in the same place after the game 😀. Assuming this will be a big part of the problems.

  3. Can’t see us taking the full allocation now tbh. Public transport after the game not an option. Buses will be scarce as Celtic supporters will hire buses as well and don’t forget all the cruise ships in Invergordon the buses go there all the time as well. Will either be stop over in Glasgow or own transport which isn’t an option for everyone. Being shafted for another country’s cup final is an absolute disgrace 😡

I see the crowd was 3822: a lot of travelling fans presumably but was there a higher than normal home crowd?

Reckoned there was about 1200 away fans. The main and north stands were a bit fuller.

  5. Was really good to see both sets of fans applauding. Quite fitting as well on the day the Invincibles  were there. Tommy was a Jags fan and shows that for all the differences we can unite together I’m sure Tommy would have enjoyed that. Best pitch we ever had

I hope it's true that the supporters buses take you direct to Hampden, as this was not the case in the semi final against Celtic. The buses were not allowed to park in the coach park and were directed to park at Kingspark, which was quite a walk for someone who has mobility issues. So, knowing that, we took the car down for the final against Falkirk, so that I could use my blue badge to get parked closer, only to be told by the steward at the gate that unless we had previously applied to use the disabled parking spaces on that day, we weren't allowed to use them now. So, I was dropped off at the corner and waited for my friends to find some parking, and when we eventually got slowly to the stadium, most of the disabled parking spaces were empty! So, watching in the comfort of my own home with no walking sounds good.

I remember  walking back to the bus after the game and it wasn’t there. A few others turned up after and one elderly gentleman was struggling a bit. We all stood around and eventually found out the bus had then gone to Hampden which meant walking back. Felt really sorry for the gentleman. The driver should have told everyone before getting off the bus. Goodness knows the others found out there was about 8 I think including ourselves

I may well be completely wrong but for our semi-final lunchtime kickoff v Celtic I thought we didn’t bring much over 2,000?

I think you are right we were pretty much all in the same section. Great day though and I really enjoyed the pre game pub. Was it called clockwork or something like that. Good crack plenty singing and fairly close to Hampden.

Can all fans who think this way ‘get real’ and wake up.  Irrespective of whether Ian McCall would be any good,  ICT is not an attractive post for a manager - we have no money, can’t attract good players, terrible reputation with ‘burnt’ local businesses (investment), minute, dwindling and disgruntled support, fall guy to a toxic Board!

Players speak to each other and reputations are made! -
ICT and Inverness (the highlands) is not an attractive proposition for any ‘outside’ aspiring or established player of reasonable ability.  - It’s too far away from the large urban areas. Away from your family and friends the novelty of the A9 and A96 quickly wear off.

If you have made the move, once you fall out of favour, your playing career is  in stuck in limbo if you have a family, - their is no other team to go to (County - only if you bow to Sir Ian).  Ask Kettlewell!

Players know ICT ground is a soleless and lonely place with no atmosphere.

Throw in no money, ICT is just not a good image or option right now!

Sorry to be blunt, but until we start addressing some of these issues we’re  just treading water.

I’m that depressed reading this I want to move south😀😀. Something has changed over the years this was a good place for a young player to come previously. Look at players like Johnny Hayes Andrew and Graeme Shinnie. Marley Watkins and others. Was a stepping stone up to bigger wages etc. We’ve had loads of players coming up over the years. Something has gone far wrong and I agree with you a major shake up is required but how do you do it. Any Sugar daddy’s on here 😀

Chalk and cheese.  Titchy was a winger.  Davy Johnston was a compact, fast striker - now that I think about it, he had many similarities with Billy Mckay.

His telepathic partnership with Chic Allan was out of this world.

Mind you, Ian Stephen and Johnny Cowie were pretty good too

Sorry didn’t mean same position or anything what I meant was tichy was incredibly talented as well.

Yes, I read this article on Facebook today. What an amazing player he was, one of the best the Highland League ever had. I remember a story that was going around after one game. It was against Dundee, and Tommy Gemmel was the player/manager then, and he tried to kick Tichy up and down the wing, as they were in direct opposition, and after the game was over, Gemmel was so impressed by his skills and bravery, that he tried to buy him! But Tichy was a one club man. Brilliant times in the Highland League. I was in school with his brother Lofty, that's how old I am! 😄

My favourite jags player   Everyone always talked about Caley’s Davie Johnstone who was outstanding. I always believe Tichy was right up there as well

Think we just have to accept we will be lucky if we make the playoffs and if we do we will not go far. This is not being negative its being realistic.

Then the excuses will come starting with injuries, followed by we were unlucky in some games and probably will include we had to play young boys.

Then we will be told next season will be different and we are going for it,because we are going to do exactly what we have done for the last few seasons.

We will roll up and watch more of hoof the high ball to the small strikers, get ourselves frustrated, sit in the freezing cold on dark days and night and moan on here.

Oh well seems the timeline for being an ICT fan is much of 'more of the same' and so it will continue until the club grasps the nettle and makes changes across the club until the whole mineset and outlook is changed for the better.

Realistically we are a championship team.Is there any player fit for the Premier other than Ridgers and Deas.

We will also finally get some communication from the club wanting money for season tickets and telling us yet again how we have got exciting times ahead and how we are going for promotion. Never felt so disconnected from the club in all these years.

  12. 2 points lost or 1 point gained. I’m of a different opinion to Robert. First half we were insipid uninspiring and way off the pace Morton should have had a couple but thankfully only went in at 1 down. Second half started off with us driving at them with pace and positivity which resulted in Billy’s goal. We then slowed it down again and Morton created  a few chances Duffy then made a mistake which led to them scoring. Ethan Cairns take a bow first touch and an equaliser. Maybe an inspired substitute? We only seemed to come to life when losing. If we have ambitions for promotion we should be beating teams like Morton at home  I will also be listening to what Dodds has to say after claiming these games are must wins

  13. I enjoyed todays game. It might have been 0-0 but it was an entertaining game and much better than a lot of the games at home so far. I think we’ve only won 4 at home this season. Either team could have won it but we played some nice stuff today and if we can keep playing like this the play offs are a possibility.QP have won 6 or7 in a row up till today and we certainly matched them.

Asap so Cove a week on Monday but if our CEO was competent then your suggestion won't be necessary as Dudds will be gone before then!

Competent is not a word I think you can use with our CEO. He talks the talk but since he came in what has really changed. I’d assume he’s on a decent wage but we have languished in the championship. With him Dodds and sadly Robbo who we all like it’s turned into an old boys club. There’s all sorts of stories about the new director being a front man etc Google is your friend here. and of course now there’s the debacle of the concert situation as well. We need wholesale changes but you would have to be a real fan with lots of money to give away to even think of putting it into our club at the moment. On top of that the football week in and out is rubbish to watch. Someone asked somewhere about next years season tickets. I’ll still buy one as will most of those who sit around me IBM? etc.

Worrying times ahead and things need to change. We are slowly but steadily going downhill. Thank goodness for the Christmas break now and a few drams required before the Cove game methinks

Merry Christmas for tomorrow and a good new year when it comes

This is not intended as an opinion on what the trust should or should not do.  I post this purely for information and because Peter has stated that he stands willing to be corrected.

This snippet is from the clubs articles of association.

    image.thumb.png.5414ebe183dd644c373ec2c3d4267476.png

As at the last return, there are 4,902,379 ordinary shares issued.

Supporters Trust have 13,658 shares, of which 108 have enhanced rights....leaving 13,550 "ordinary" rights.

The enhanced shares are, in todays terms, equal to 490,237 shares....and we then add the 13,550....total 503,787

As per the company articles 900,003 of the ordinary shares carry no voting right, so issued shares with voting powers total 4,002,376 and this gives the trust a voting right of approx 12.6% in real terms

This is the second largest single entity voting right which exists within the club right now and far surpasses the total voting right of all current directors combined.  The largest shareholding/voting right sits with the ICT Trust (a different entity to the supporters trust).

The company articles state no need for club directors to stand down and/or be reelected by rotation.  They have the power to appoint new directors and are, at present, entirely self appointed with no elected members on the board.

A shareholder resolution can be raised by giving sufficient notice ahead of any general meeting for the election of a board member.  The Supporters Trust could do that now if they so desired.

The current board do not hold anything like sufficient shares between them to stop that resolution and would need support from others to do so...if they so wished.

Haven’t even read it because I’m on the shot.  But the very Name CaleyD knows that he has the club and fans at heart good to see you back  and somebody that will keep Billy’s surname spelt right. How does it go again😀
