Finished top of the group and unbeaten so that's a real positive. Today's game was a bit of the good the bad the ugly 😂 a great opening goal - an opportunistic equaliser from a cove corner- giving way to many chances to the opposition. Cove had 2 really good opportunities to go ahead early second half. We probably ought to have sealed it late however very disappointing that we didn't manage a winner. Good set of penalties. Deas my pick today.

Billy McKay my pick for tonight. Just too strong for Albion really. Could have scored a few more. We appear to be shaping up okay. Let's see how we go against stronger teams. Early signs are positive. Didn't think I would have got wet and cold though 😂

Livi be favourites no doubt but it will be a game where we can hopefully gauge the direction of travel. These early games are good for anyone wanting to stake their claim for a regular berth in the starting eleven. Make a good impression early doors on the game and on the season. A well done to everyone at the club for a good try at that playoff system; theres a reason nobody has done it yet. Never quite worked out although St Johnstone coming out the blocks after a half time roasting ought to have been obvious. They also get their bit of luck and then chasing it too late after all the games played; players injured etc But another learning process on the journey back to premier league football. Hopefully that journey can move quicker and more purposefully. A lot will depend on squad additions. Going up not ready would just result in what has happened to Dundee. This coming season everyone throughout the club can have no illusions about what it takes. They are going in the right direction and shall overcome with good support. Hopefully they can all get away on a nice relaxing holiday somewhere and come back fired up and ready to go again.

Winner takes it all Monday night and hopefully we take it all. St Johnstone no doubt will feel confident but I am not convinced by them. If we can get our noses in front and get pressure on them who knows. You need a bit of luck and a fair wind but stranger things have happened...get intake them 😃
