  1. A well done to everyone at the club for a good try at that playoff system; theres a reason nobody has done it yet. Never quite worked out although St Johnstone coming out the blocks after a half time roasting ought to have been obvious. They also get their bit of luck and then chasing it too late after all the games played; players injured etc But another learning process on the journey back to premier league football. Hopefully that journey can move quicker and more purposefully. A lot will depend on squad additions. Going up not ready would just result in what has happened to Dundee. This coming season everyone throughout the club can have no illusions about what it takes. They are going in the right direction and shall overcome with good support. Hopefully they can all get away on a nice relaxing holiday somewhere and come back fired up and ready to go again.
  2. Winner takes it all Monday night and hopefully we take it all. St Johnstone no doubt will feel confident but I am not convinced by them. If we can get our noses in front and get pressure on them who knows. You need a bit of luck and a fair wind but stranger things have happened...get intake them
  3. As Bob the builder would say 'can we fix it ?' YES WE CAN ! Joe Hardy does resemble Bob so maybe it's his night and it's a night for stretching the imagination as well as the sinews. I am sure that every player going on tonight will try their best and may the force be with them. These two games are now the season defining moments. This is the first seize the day moment and a chance to get a foothold in the tie. I wish them all the best and will be there to support. Seek and ye shall find as the planet's align once more to the tune of as super caley go ballistic. The last sentence is by my mate murdo the mystic; go figure
  4. That was a smokie screen performance to lull them into a false sense of security. Allowing the Arbroath dream to be turned into a nightmare on Friday the 13th
  5. Let's see a good game of football with ICT the superior exponents... goals win games...Arbroath have had their shot and blew it....it is now time for Inverness to shine..
  6. Chalmers is developing his game a lot with ICT. He looks more confident now and caused Partick problems. More of that on Friday would be great. With a goal chucked in
  7. Go for the win in both games. No point messing about at this stage. Get about them early and keep the pressure on them; crack Partick this game and finish them Friday. May the force be with you...
  8. Hopefully that's us on a run again keep on running and scoring goals. Let's pickle the thistle and choke the smokies...
  9. We really ought to be approaching this game as a dress rehearsal for the play offs.
  10. Hope the team can keep up the run of good results. Ayr still need points so no doubt will be up for it. Looking for a win on the Grand National and a grand day out at the seaside in Ayr... ️
  11. Also taking off Thomas and Polworth sealed their fate- cheers Yogi
  12. A mention for Duffy who had a good game. His willingness to run forward providing the freekick that led to Maclears goal.
  13. Great weather-great game-great goal-great result...great day...etc etc
  14. Probably need to get to grips with Thomas and Polworth- they are prominent in the Dunfermline Partick game- creating. Whoever is right back needs to nullify Thomas. Think Dunfermline are shaky at the back.
  15. You just gotta love football for the element of surprise
  16. Great result. Arbroath pressed quite a bit and we held together. Took our chances. Should have been four; how Welsh missed his chance ?? Bring on the Rovers
  17. To click or not to click....that is the question ?
  18. No score goals no win football match....aim of football team- to score goals to win football match...if not winning football match- work out how to score goals and make happen- there you go ....
