  1. not sure, but as i say very suprised,8 inches of snow fell overnight in aviemore, and on thursday grantown had 15 inches,so around this area and south is very bad

I remember living in Kingussie for years, when my father was Police sergeant there, and the weather we are getting now used to be constant for weeks. The roads were rarely closed for more than an overnight period, you would be surprised at how prepared the council were then for keeping the roads open.

i think council were better years ago at keeping roads open, lately they havent been very good,i set of for work on thrusday to grantown 15 miles away at 6.50am,got as far as carrbridge junction and got home at 9am after road being closed, when police told me it was open!

if its even a little windy and its blowing they sometimes close drumotcher so no snowplough can do much about that

  2. it really suprises me this game is on.ok weather in inverness maybe ok,but the a9 is very bad, especially drummochter and slochd, surely its health and safety for fans, and the team??

Did we not get forced to play a match at the piggery when the weather was worse than this a couple of seasons ago?

EDIT, I think it may actually have been Aberdeen who were forced to play the match, I just remember the call in on the radio before hand.

  3. if he is out of contract at celtic in summer he will get no money, so some money is better than no money isn't it?

being in the central belt no doubt some other spl club will pick him up,so we wont get him

  4. Mark Brown for me anyday, he would push esson to the edge, and force even more out of each other

it makes me laugh all these people who kid themselves that mark brown would come back! the money he,s on at celtic no wat would he take a large drop to come back to ict :rotflmao:

  5. Black for nowt.

what would you rather have ?50k for black now,or he stays keeps us up and saves us ?millions

I think you've completely misunderstood my post Marty. I hope that Terry Butcher can get Bennett to organise players' contracts better so that we're never, or hardly ever, in the position of losing real talent without proper recompense - in other words, don't let your best players' contracts expire in the middle of a bargain hunt, something which seemed to elude Crag Brewster, unless the board are really that willing to laugh off a manager's requests.

    hopefully vigurs isnt the next

  6. If Hearts went into administration and if the SPL stopped them signing players....could pre-contract agreements be torn up? I suspect they could in the right circumstances.

i suppose they could be but highly doubt it will happen

  7. He was great today and i think we should defnitely extend his stay here as he and Munro seem to have forged a great partnership at the back.

he can only be good for grant also, grant now knows he has a partner he can trust and rely on,where as he hasnt had one since dods left

  8. Need a center foward to provide "guidance" and support to Rooney and Woods and Barrowman, all to young to run the line on their own, need experience

we do need a experience striker but if we dont get 1 in on time. i think we will do fine with the strikers we have, listening to butchers interview sounds like imrie will start upfront alot more

i would doubt we,ll find a experienced att within 24hrs,as we struggled to find one all season, but saying that he found eric out of no-where,so there is hope. if they work on some of imries game he could turn out a very, very good player, doubt many if any other players will want to leave the club under butcher.imagine if butcher came when brewster did the 2nd time and had rankin, cowie and black all in mid!

  9. Thankfully Hearts don't have the money to take him off our hands until the end of the season as he's just the kind of player we need for the relegation battle.

although i dont want him to go until end of season, unless we get a player for him, hearts can surely afford him,?2.3m for berra and driver+ possibly kingston to leave tommorrow,?50,000 isnt much out of that

  10. Great interview from TB as well. Funny and passionate about the cause. Well done all.
iam sure tel,s a wino,he must of mentioned red wine and champagne at least 5-6 times in the interview

Think it's an "in" joke. Did Butcher not do some kind of wine review thing for a newspaper or something in the not too distant past?

he did mention before he got ict job he used to spend hrs studying wine in the local supermarket! fine by me if he gets the team playing as well as today every week
