Perhaps you should direct that comment in the direction of the Hampden day trippers, not those who support the game at the grass roots across Highland Communities.

Cheers for the advice but after the utter madness imparted by the club this week I've decided I'll just take my 8 year old along to the wee County v Brechin. Might even stand.. kids love rolling down the hill behind the goal. Treats for sure .. Sprinkles on the High Street for a double cone if the warm weather persists 🍦 & the Dolphin for a fish supper on the way home. Should still have change from the £340.00 in my sock, unless I lose it rolling down the hill ..

You might expect Makwana to be in attendance on Saturday if the deal is as far advanced as they would have you believe. You would also expect under normal circumstances for him to be chaperoned by his new BFF. These however, are far from normal circumstances.

Phoned the number early afternoon, had to leave a voicemail with my contact no when no-one picked up. Hopefully get a return call tomorrow as I didn't receive one today. Perhaps they are inundated ..

In fairness Bollanball sounds considerably more sexy football when compared to Fergball, which is a bit too close to Furball for comfort

That's the whole issue I'm never in town .. certainly not weekdays. I'm sure they are a pleasure to deal with but I would have expected a response to my email even if it is a "hassle"

Season Tickets + Resignation Confirmation
About 4 weeks ago I emailed an enquiry to the ticket office asking how, if I decided to purchase a ST I could also secure a seat for an 8 year old next to me ( as there is no option). I received no reply. I also notice there is no option this week to purchase a single ticket for the Dumbarton game so presume these will be available later in the week ? For a club in dire need of revenue they are not offering much in the way of information.

Supporters Trust Statement on New Investment by Seventy7 Ventures
Playing devils advocate my recollection is the trust took a neutral stance, and certainly agreed with attendees on the priority issue at the meeting which was opposing moving operations south. An opposing stance would have been pro Kelty which they were not. They also did not oppose suggestions of a demonstration. The support have simply failed to mobilise into a coherent group so failure in that regard lies at grass roots level not at trust level. The trust certainly need to step up and hold the boards feet to the fire citing the supporters concerns over the potential change in majority shareholding & apparent gaps in credibility over funding going forward. If the current trust representatives feel unable to do so then perhaps trust members should approve available funds being utilised to seek professional insight and support. After all the way things are going there will be nothing else to invest in. I sincerely believe we need a demonstration strategy at every home game to send a clear message starting with the first home league game. Of course this would require organisation on the part of the grass roots fans who have failed to demonstrate any appetite for militancy across the whole sorry affair thus far. Gardiner knows we are all show and no go so far and has convinced himself of his own infallibility. This latest stunt however, may just be his downfall if we can exploit the weakness in his strategy, and credibility. Before the "takeover" announcement I set up a poll to gauge the groundswell of support on the forum for organised protest. From small acorns I suggest we set up a group to discuss if like minded fans are prepared to stand up together as this isn't going away whatever the conservative element of the fan base seem to think.

Based on all known information, and in light of the unexplained financial position surrounding the identity of the mystery investor a question mark must now exist, pending completion of the due diligence process, as to whether the Board of Directors are complying with the Companies Act 2006, in particular Section 172, the duty of care to promote the success of the Company (1) A director of a company must act in the way he considers, in good faith, would be most likely to promote the success of the company for the benefit of its members as a whole, and in doing so have regard (amongst other matters) to (a)the likely consequences of any decision in the long term, (b)the interests of the company's employees, (c)the need to foster the company's business relationships with suppliers, customers and others, (d)the impact of the company's operations on the community and the environment, (e)the desirability of the company maintaining a reputation for high standards of business conduct, and (f)the need to act fairly as between members of the company. So it's over to the board to tick all the boxes in this regard .. and this is where the trust could and should play a role in conjunction with other shareholders in holding the board to account by evidencing compliance with statutory requirements.

Given the confusion over the terms shareholder and owner it's probably a similar misinterpretation between down under and going under .. easy mistake

Given the moribund demeanour of the board that makes sense. One of the board is simply chosen via the drawing of a short straw to add their name to a pre prepared statement. (Takes them so long between statements as they keep forgetting to include a short straw)
