  1. Would make sense, his dad still works there. Has skin in the game so to speak!
  2. Facing and taking the pain now will enable the club (in whatever shape, form or league) to move on more quickly (and from personal experience), cheaper and get in place a structure that most fans would understand and get behind. Time for a new direction!!!
  3. For the Q&A backward looking session I would envisage a few fans would like to understand a little more of the process. As such:- # Will the compiled questions that are to be forwarded to the SLO be available in advance to the fans. I’m sure this would be helpful to the fans. # It’s unclear to me what people or individuals the questions are put. ie are the replies / answers the response and views from the SLO, or are the questions put forward to the full board / part board or volunteers? # What if any integrity or arbitrator will be in place to avoid spin and bull. Ie is Mr Savage in anyway involved in the process? # Lastly, Can we have the answers/ replies before the Monday night meeting. - This will allow I suggest the meeting to be focused on forward thinking. Otherwise I fear fans will insist on raising BL points.
  4. Spot on SMS, Like going to a London Gentleman’s club (the old rich git type, not the other one), to rub shoulders with fellow egos and glorify in their position and status. The odd beer and brandy is the limit of their interest on what’s going on around them. Goodness, they paid the entry fee to get the Chairman and CEO to do the house maintenance.
  5. In the P&B tonight on FTCTTS. ‘Pictures tell a thousand w…….’ Thought it caught the gravity of the situation we’re in and portrays it better than I could ever.
  6. Will the questions list be available on a live link (or equivalent) to fans of questions received / entered or is it just what is decided to be raised by the SLO on the night? Thanks bc
  7. Not convinced there are enough fans out there willing to throw good money after bad. As mentioned eloquently by other posters, the principal culprits are well known. These individuals got us here through their incompetence and are ducking their responsibility by looking for the fans to bail out the club. Unfortunately we are past the point of no return IMHO with the current debt, operating structure and set-up. For me a 200k month ‘plug’ is simply delaying the inevitable. If AS cannot find any credible investors with his Orion national and international network, well the game (excuse the pun) is truly up. Better to face and take the pain now and plan for post Admin under a completely new operating model suited to our actual fan base limit. Let’s also face facts we are at best a Championship operation. We just start again at the level arrived at after administration.
  8. Good piece of speciation STFU. Don’t think your too far of the mark!
  9. Virtuous acts are not the natural leaning for these Gents. Who knows, come the time they may see there’s more to life than money
  10. Welcome Charlie, You’ll get the opportunity to test your abilities and mettle with immediate effect at Arbroath this Saturday. Great chance to make yourself a favourite with the fans if you can score a goal regularly. You might need to wait for the ball to get to you, so patience needed! Best of luck!
  11. Yes, agreed. A few more turns, twists and paper chase headlines to feed the natives to come before a clear settled position is reached between AS and the ‘Rest’ (Morrison and other major stakeholders). Gardener will be a separate show settled much later I envisage with the final cost buried in some future accounts.
  12. The ante up on the poker game between AS and the old guard
  13. Hmm, I find it interesting that after some 30 plus years at ICT and having seen ‘of’ umpteen Chairmen, CEO’s and Board members decisions, actions and wheeling/dealing over the period Charlie, (now as interim CEO), is now finding to his astonishment and amazement, a lot of these people he had easy access and dealings with, were / are incompetent, fiscally irresponsible with self interest their prime drive! Fully understand of course he wasn’t in any position to query any such action over this period to wave any flags!!!!!
  14. Can we remove the first T from the title please? bc
  15. HT: 0-0 FT: 0-0 1st Scorer ICT: NA 1st Scorer Opp: NA Crowd: 1105
  16. If only we were full time, we’d manage to be better than the dross in this league! Oh, I forgot, we are full time!!!
  17. Really struggling to come up with anything from todays game that would encourage me to attend the next home game. Stenny must be back down the A9 knowing that was two points dropped. A big word to the Stenny fans that ignored the pre match announcement to behave and act dead , and actually supported their team almost onto victory. If this is what the future is avoiding administration then ??????? Oh, forgot to mention some good natured expletive booing at FT!!
  18. Nice to see the 20 odd Stenny supporters bringing some singing and atmosphere!!
  19. FH - Apart from Dibaga and Savage rest of the team were bloody awful. School boy lessons of simple trapping the ball needed and instructions to find where the opposition goal is on the field.
  20. HT: 2-0 FT: 3-1 1st Scorer ICT: Brooks 1st Scorer Opp: Jacobs Crowd: 1463
  21. Jees, It’s a low bar to set out as ‘our star name’ manager is an Ex-Con with a perchant for battering people he takes exception to. Cant image is an easy selling point to make when punting the club to prospective business interests!
  22. I’m on board with you C1C3 in getting fully behind the club and supporting the team and AS et’al going forward. It’s a tacit acceptance of DF as part of that journey whilst he’s with us. IMO if there was ANY club ‘out there’ that would have remotely considered taking DF on as a manager (or coach, youth trainer or gopher) at any mid England club during the summer break we wouldn’t have seen DF again. His complete absence, comment or simple courtesy of interest in the players position at this time was telling for me. This latter ‘fighting spirit’ rhetoric is shallow and artificial for me. If he could have found a way ‘out’, he would have jumped at it! So in closing, ‘yes’ to the club support from me and that includes DF. But don’t take us as mugs. The jury is still out for me!! bc
  23. I’m not so sure things would be the same. If there a striker we can get that can actually put the ball in the net consistently (say 3 out of 5 matches), that would have a huge impact and improvement both in our league position and generally as a club. I’m not a fan of DF and I believe he’s the wrong fit (for a number of well trodden reasons), for our club. That said, it’s clear to most of us if we can get someone to put the ball in the net, then the team looks a better proposition all round. I like the defence of Dibaga, Savage and Devine. The midfield is begining to hold its own in games (A lot down to B McKay’s effort). So if we can get in a striker and the team avoids injury then let’s do it as we’re needing one badly. Won’t turn DF into ‘pep’ or change my mind about him, but maybe allow us all to look a bit more forward to the future matches! Just my tuppence worth!
  24. I’m looking forward to his post match analysis!!
