The split has taken place and for the 4th consecutive season, Inverness CT are in the bottom six. After beating Kilmarnock 3-1 at home on the 29th December, top six was looking like it could be possibly, but after a horrendous run of results which includes a mere 2 wins over Gretna, we find ourselves down to 9th. During that run we lost to Kilmarnock by a miserable 4-1. We might not have much to play for, but Brewster has lost a lot of fans recently and if they can pick up the majority of

It has been 7 games since Inverness CT last tasted victory (in other words 1 win in 2008) and it is important we start picking up points sooner rather than later. All of a sudden 11th place is in sight instead of the 6th place which could mathematically still be possible. However to do that, Saturday is a must win with Falkirk currently occupying 6th spot. Lets just hope a 2 week break will work wonders after a dreadful home performance against Hearts on the 1st March. With Marius Niculae c

It might have been another loss on Wednesday night but the 2-1 defeat to Celtic has brought a little more optimism for the fans for the next 5 games before the split. A Marius Niculae strike 20 mins before the end, gave Celtic a nervy finish, and gave the Romanian his 9th goal of the season, but only his first away from the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium! So then Mr Brewster, will it be a 4-4-2, or a 4-2-3-1, or a 4-5-1, or a 4-3-3 or something else? Whatever it is, after the midweek loss at Motherwell, it is vital Inverness CT start to pick up some points again on the road. Sadly the away form seems to have gone from bad to worse with the last win away on the 22nd December against Hearts. Brewster’s team selection on Wednesday raised some eyebrows with no Marius Nicuale, Ian Black dropped to the bench, and Barry Wilson still nowhere to be

Inverness CT after having 20 days of no football before last Saturday now enter an important stage of the season where they have 4 games in 11 days. This is where Brewster may use squad rotation and give players like Barry Wilson and Graham Bayne who haven't featured a lot recently, a game. Dundee Utd are one of Brewster's former clubs and it is important that Inverness make home advantage count on Saturday. With David Proctor injured, Phil McGuire will more than likely step in. Whether Brews

Can anyone actually remember the last time we played?? It feels like a new season after having 20 days of no first team football. Whatever you have been doing to keep yourself occupied, ignore it now because Inverness CT are finally back in action this weekend. Lets hope the players have recharged the batteries and are eager to get out there and bang in the goals! New signing Dougie Imrie may feature at some point. Also it will be interesting to see if there will be any changes from the 1-0

Well after 2 rounds of fixtures, here comes the last 11 games before the split. After a terrible start by Inverness CT, they have finally found some form and now the top six is in sight. Even though we are out the Scottish Cup, the opportunity is now there to focus fully on the league and aim to pick up as many points as possible starting against a team we haven't scored against this season. The post- Rankin era starts here, it will be interesting to see if Brewster makes changes after last S
