Recreation Ready A spot of recreation is on offer as we head to Clackmannanshire to face fellow title contenders Alloa Athletic in the Clean Sheet Derby at the Indodrill Stadium in a catch-up game held back from the recent historic International week, and what a week that was. The Wasps have been on fine form recently with twelve points over the last six games, just one less than the Caley Jags and could jump into second place with a win on Tuesday night. Both sides have conceded just eight Lea

Do the Wasps still have a sting in their tail With just seven League1 games left this season we are off to face another form side on the fringe of the promotion race. Alloa Athletic were flying and looking like real contenders until they suffered two defeats in a row at Peterhead and Montrose, conceding eight goals in the process and that might just have knocked the stuffing out of them. However, they are still one of three teams that have reaped twelve points from their last six games, the oth

KDM TROPHY SEMI-FINAL Been a long time coming, but we are now getting down to the business end of the KDM Trophy. It’s a massive night at Somerset Park! Only Ayr United stand between us and a place in the Challenge Cup final this Tuesday, 24 February. The second finalist will be decided tomorrow night when Airdrie host Raith Rovers. If you can't make it to the game, both semi-finals are live on BBC Alba! It's another tough task as we look to end the run of another Championship side in Scott Bro

League Cup Opener Inverness start the season in semi earnest as we enter the Premier Sports Cup Group F on Tuesday night against Elgin City at the Caledonian Stadium. We had Saturday off as the competition got into full swing at the weekend. It kicked off on Friday night with Partick Thistle beating Edinburgh City 1-4. On Saturday a full programme of ties saw one or two inevitable 'shock results' as teams find their way after a Summer of rebuilding. A couple of notable casualties in Stranraer b

Stinky Fish & hard stone Saturday in the Pink It's off to the bygone land of granite quarries and stinky fish meal factories this weekend as the Caley Jags head for Balmoral Park to tackle Cove Rangers on Matchday Six with League1 business high on the agenda. This will be Cove's 200th League game since gaining promotion to the SPFL. Inverness have made a solid start to the campaign and got themselves into positive figures within two weeks and now sit within the mid table group. On the other

Game on Apparently Snow Show or No Show? That is the question? I'm afraid it's another weather permitting weekend as we are due to face Cove Rangers in the middle of the Arctic freeze at Balmoor. The Caley Jags have not played since the back to back defeats against Stenhousemuir and Montrose, the last game played at Links Park on 27th December where we squandered numerous opportunities to take something from a less than clinical performance against Montrose. That result, coupled with Stenhouse

KDM @ THE ROCK We face Dumbarton at the Rock on Tuesday night in our re-arranged game in the KDM Trophy last 32 fixtures. There are seven fixtures re-scheduled for the same night after the recent heavy rain and wind postponed these games and we were held up by our Scottish Cup tie against Tranent taking precedence over the KDM fixtures. The draw has already taken place and should we progress, then we will be be away to the winner of the Cove v Partick tie also to be played on Tuesday night. ~~~
