Seasonus Horribilis endeth Inverness wrapped up their seasonus horriblis with a comfortable win over a reserved Hibernian. Two second half set pieces sealed the points for the homesters to ensure they stayed above the Cup finalists. Greg Tansey and Jonny Hayes supplied the finishes in a brighter second half against an understrength Hibs side. The Highland Marchers made it to Inverness on schedule despite the weather doing it's best to scupper their efforts. A ten mile detour did not

Saint's are on Inverness' side. Inverness took their 10th point off St Mirren this season as captain Richie Foran scored his first goal since August 20th to clinch victory in the 85th minute. He nodded home a delightful Greg Tansey free kick to ensure the Highland Marchers had plenty to discuss on the walk home, all 160 miles of it. Ross Tokely and Steve Williams were missing from the squad with Roman Golobart and Gregory Tade starting along with the returning Jonny Hayes, back fro

Safety First Oh well, that's relegation out of the equation after a no scoring draw saw Inverness retain SPL status for next season. Dunfermline still look favourites for the drop although they could still pip Hibernian should results swing their way, but it does look like a long shot for them. A minutes silence was impeccably observed before the match started to pay respect for Inverness fan John McDonald who passed away in the stand at Kilmarnock last Saturday. Without Jonny Ha

Perspective A football match was played out at Rugby Park on Saturday and although it was an entertaining game, it paled into insignificance in view of the sad incident where an Inverness fan collapsed and died in the Frank Beattie Stand midway through the second half, despite frantic efforts by a doctor and medical staff to revive him. Fans could not help but be drawn towards the incident occurring a few yards in front of them and the result of the game was far from those that

Despondent Dons better than dire Inverness. Nobody expected much to happen today given the form of the two teams on display and the poor crowd confirmed that the novelty of SPL football has worn pretty thin. Sadly, this game was further evidence, if it was needed that something is wrong with the game in Scotland. Aberdeen are a shadow of their former selves, a team who once had the audacity to challenge the Old Firm in the heady days of the Ferguson regime. Today they were the better

Saints Stalemate Not too much to say about this game. Jonny Hayes came close early on when he hit the post with Mannus beaten and Foran had a header saved. Sandaza came to life in the second half but Inverness held out for a deserved share of the points. With Dundee United losing at Aberdeen, St Johnstone take the lead in the race for Europa football but Inverness remain in tenth spot with Dunfermline now unlikely to overhaul them after another home loss, this time against Hearts.

The broken record goes on. It's like a broken record and as Led Zeppelin will tell you, the song remains the same. This nightmare season continues as Inverness stuttered to another home lapse by losing to probably the poorest Hibs side on record. Despite dominating the first half the homesters could not for the life of them penetrate the Capital clubs rearguard and despite going ahead on the hour mark through our first penalty of the season we managed to capitulate rather easily and
