Uncomfortably Numb   Shambolic Inverness have hit their darkest day since their formation in 1994 after being relegated to League one by virtue of being humiliated and embarrassed by Hamilton Accies at the Caledonian Stadium. Yes, you read that right, embarrassed by Hamilton Accies. It had been predicted for months that this was the poorest side that Inverness have fielded since the early days. Nobody listened, especially the board and the blame lies squarely with them. Duncan Ferguson

Hanging on   Hamilton Accies hosted Inverness at New Douglas Park, the scene of the shoes-off protest a few years ago when we last tried to oust a failed manager. This time it's the Inverness board and Manager Duncan Ferguson who are under pressure to deliver. Sean McAllister was out but Charlie Gilmour started. Kevin O'Hara will be the main target man for the hosts and Euan Henderson likes a goal or two as well, with Lewis Smith an able provider. Accies were a bit of a bogey team for

Little Consolation   Inverness will face Hamilton Accies in the Play-Off final after nervously scraping past part-time Montrose who were eventually reduced to ten men when Blair Lyons was sent off after an off the ball incident in the 84th minute involving Morgan Boyes. Inverness had dominated throughout, but failed to capitalise on their possession, and as per the entire season failed to create much of note. The first half was livlier than the first leg, but the same problems showed u

Utter Drivel   Inverness had a couple of fresh injury concerns ahead of this first Leg play off encounter at Links Park, and with the effect an artificial surface can have on recovering players James Carragher and Sean McAllister were benched with Samson Lawal getting a rare start. Alex Samuel had recovered from his face knock and will be our main target up front. Montrose had top scorers Kane Hester, Blair Lyons and Graham Webster on from the start with chief assister Michael Gardyne

Play Off Despair   Ahead of kick off it was out of our hands with Queens Park holding all the aces. To escape the play offs, we had to better what Queens Park did against Airdrie. First and foremost we had to ensure we did not lose and hope that the Spiders dropped points at Hampden versus the Diamonds on the last night of the regular season. Both sides were missing some important players for this game with Morton undefeated in their last five visits to the Caledonian Stadium. It

Out of our hands now   This was our most important game of the season and a tough one at the best of times. No major changes from the defeat at home to Raith Rovers although Aaron Doran had twisted his knee and is done. Sean McAllister started and Billy Mckay captained the side with Devine and Lawal on the bench. Dunfermline are safe in no mans land but will want to end their season with a flourish at home. Kane started up front for the Pars with Jakubiak and O'Halloran on the bench. S

Relegation fears back on   Our former bitches came North safe in the knowledge that they will finish at least second in the table and they can prepare for the challenge ahead without having to look over their shoulders. We on the other hand, still need points to ease ourselves away from the League 1 play-off drop zone. James Carragher returned to the starting XI with Remi Savage and Sean McAllister making the bench, and for the visitors, it looks like they mean business with Lewis Vaug
