Montevideo, a football city

Indeed, given it hosted the first ever World Cup in 1930 single handed, its passion for the beautiful game has never diminished! Every time I see the words “The North”, it brings back memories of a great Argentine friend of mine who had flown into Britain for the first time, lured here by Monty Python’s re-union at the 02 in London! Vicenza, Citta Palladio
