The Mantis 2,485 Posted October 31, 2022 There’s a fair chance of this being moved to Friday night, according to QP fans on P&B. Syngenta have a game on Saturday and they seem to have first dibs on the park. Queens had their recent home game v Dundee moved for the same reason. Meanwhile the development of Lesser Hampden continues at a snail’s pace, and despite what the club are saying, the fans don’t believe they’ll be in before the end of the season.

Went for a nosey after the Scotland visit Ukraine match and I think they are correct. Nowhere near ready. How much notice do they need to give given this is only 2 weeks away?
The Mantis 2,485 Posted November 1, 2022 Maybe worth mentioning for @Scotty that Queen’s Park are playing at Ochilview for the time being, although the map is showing Hampden.
Scotty 4,481 Posted November 1, 2022 ICT just posted that this will take place at Ochilview on the scheduled day with a 5:30pm kick-off. will update the map and timing.
old caley girl 2,902 Posted November 1, 2022 Absolutely raging at this. So late in day to change and last train up road 1916. I know we are a small away support but we are loyal and deserve respect. Why on earth are Stennie allowed to share with x 2 clubs? Why does a lower league club Syngenta FC get priority? Beggars belief club agreed to this
Yngwie 6,070 Posted November 1, 2022 The club have now explained on social media that this kick off time was considered by ICT to be the least bad option. I’m sure many will disagree with that conclusion, but there were quite a few factors to take into account.

Why do Syngenta get first dibs? None of this is our fault but I wonder how much fans were thought about when deciding to help Queens here? Speaking to a QP fan they get zero information from their club about how we got here.
DoofersDad 6,037 Posted November 1, 2022 The fault here must lie with Queens Park. They must have been aware there was a clash ages ago. I imagine the club are probably at least as annoyed as the fans are. Whilst the statement is very diplomatic, I am sure somewhat different language has been used in reaching the agreed kick off time.
Yngwie 6,070 Posted November 1, 2022 Syngenta have been groundsharing there for longer. I suspect that gives them higher priority than QP in a contractual hierarchy.

Yeh. Some of the Queens fans saying that the Queens hierarchy thought Syngenta would roll over but that obviously hasn't happened. Maybe rightly so. I do feel that a 3 way share was bound to have problems though.
