PFA Scotland Awards

For some reason, winning the SPL with a team plenty good enough and expected to win the title will get you manager of the year. But going unbeaten for more than half a season, turning a 15 point deficit into a 12 point lead, and being the first team for over a decade to bounce back into the SPL at the first attempt, isn't.

As well as dominating the league this season, Rangers also dominated the end-of-season awards. Walter of course took the top prize. Player of the Year was won by a snooker player. And Danny Wilson, reportedly the subject of a ?12m bid from Liverpool (bit extortianate), won Young Player of the Year.

If he wasn't going to win it, at the very least Tel should have been nominated. At least Rooney got Player of the Year in the First Division. And guess who got Player of the Year in the Second Division. :004:
