Bavidge wins top January award

Peterhead striker Martin Bavidge has been voted the most outstanding player in the Scottish Football League during January.

The 26-year-old former Inverness forward received his Scottish Football League player of the month award after scoring six goals in two games.

He followed a double against Cowdenbeath with a four-goal haul in the 5-0 win over Stranraer.

Bavidge has already netted three goals in February.
