Eck has gone quite safe with the squad.... think we are going to miss Fletcher and McFadden against Georgia.  My major objection is Beattie, he has played max 10 games all season and scored about 2 goals and still gets straight into the squad.  I suppose it was always to be expected with an ex OF manager.

4 keepers and only 4 strikers - very odd  :017:

Why Steven Naismith isn't in the squad amazes me  :018:

yup as much as you alwasy no what your getting with miller boyd and beattie, i think naismith is perhaps the best technical stirker scotland have

Iwelumo is playing for Colchester on Sky Sports 2 if anyone is interested... I'd eaily have him in before Beattie.... I'd have Thompson (ex Rangers/now at Cardiff) ahead of him.... anyone!!

... saying that he'll probably score a hattrick against Georgia

Cannae agree Harry, Beattie, when injury free, is miles ahead of Thompson, imo.

And I would have Robson (or any other Scotsman) ahead of Quashie who is English :018:

Aye, Arab4Ever, but he's played some pretty good stuff for us. We're gonna miss Faddy, Fletcher and big Elvis but I hope we've enough flair to beat what will probably be a stuffy East European outfit.

Anyway I've got my ticket and can't wait for the usual party at Hampden.  :brave:
