Season Ticket Holder - Rangers Ticket Priority

      Teaser Paragraph:

Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC is ready to hold a postal ballot if required to distribute tickets for their all-ticket SPL game with champions Rangers at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium on Saturday, August 6.

SEASON TICKET HOLDERS GET RANGERS MATCH OFFER

Inverness Caledonian Thistle FC is ready to hold a postal ballot if required to distribute tickets for their all-ticket SPL game with champions Rangers at Tulloch Caledonian Stadium on Saturday, August 6.

Operations manager Morven Reid revealed today:"We have written today to all season ticket holders inviting them to apply for up to two tickets, additional to their own individual seat entitlement, for our first home league game with Rangers.

"The letter includes a form which they can return to us, stating the nunber of tickets they wish, by a July 21 deadline. That will enable us to assess the total demand and, if required, a ballot will take place on July 22 to determine the successful applicants.

"The results will be issued to season ticket holders on Monday July 25. If there are any unsold tickets, we intend to put them on general release at 9 am on Thursday, July 28. These will only be available directly at the ticket office, with no telephone bookings accepted."

Mrs Reid added:"We are adopting what we think is a fairness agenda for what is obviously a premium fixture with a capacity audience. Our season ticket holders form our support base and this system is part of their reward."

    Addition to story - 14th July 2005

Further to a number of queries regarding Rangers tickets for shareholders, it has been confirmed that shareholders will also be given the option to purchase up to two tickets each once the season ticket allocation has been made and prior to general release.

Shareholders can apply by telephone, post or in person, detailing the number of tickets required, which stand (North, or Main Stand (Uncovered)) and category (Adult / Concession) with payment or payments details. Applications must be received by Friday 22 July and will go to a ballot if demand dictates. The results will be issued to shareholders on Tuesday July 26 2005.
