Aaron Doran of Blackburn Rovers and Billy McKay, from Northampton Town, have agreed terms to join Caley Thistle and the paperwork is expected to be completed in the next couple of days.
Doran, the 20-year-old flying winger, was a fans' favourite when on loan at Inverness in the second half of last season.
Billy McKay, a striker, is set to come north after three seasons at Northampton Town, during which he scored 13 goals in 74 appearances. McKay scored Town's first goal in a shock Carling Cup victory over Liverpool at Anfield last September.
Terry Butcher has taken time out on the club's English mini-tour to agree terms with both players. "I've been working hard on Aaron and Billy for some time and I'm delighted both have agreed to come", said Butcher. "Doran showed his talent when he joined us in the January window while I have had excellent reports on McKay. They are good young performers who can progress at Inverness."
Doran, from County Cork, joined Blackburn in May 2008 but made only three appearances and going on loan to MK Dons and Leyton Orient.Steve Kean picked him as a sub for Kean's first match in charge last season. In 14 outings for Caley Jags, the Irishman scored three goals and a string of assists and his return will be warmly welcomed.
McKay, born in England, joined Leicester City's academy squad in 2005 and signed a new contract three years later but was released in the summer of 2009. Stuart Gray snapped him up for Northampton and with them he won two Northern Ireland under-21 caps.
