Caley Thistle are in for a busy spell of pre-season activity with eight games now lined up and confirmed.
Operations director Kenny Cameron said: "They are all away from home because of the substantial works undertaken on the pitch during the close season. Contracts have been signed this week for the three games in England."
But it is a much shorter trip to Grant Street Park which is our curtain raiser, facing our Highland League neighbours Clachnacuddin on Monday, June 27, [7:30pm ko] followed by a game at Forres Mechanics on Wednesday, June 29 [7:30pm ko]
Elgin City, who gave a very gallant display against us in the Scottish Cup last season, will be the next port of call for Terry Butcher's troops on Saturday, July 2 [3:00pm ko].
Livingston, newly promoted to the First Division, will host Caley Jags on Saturday, July 9. [3:00pm ko]. Then skipper Richie Foran and the players head over the border.
We play Yeovil Town at Huish Park on Tuesday, July 12, [7:30pm ko] followed by Bristol Rovers at Bath City FC's ground on Thursday, July 14 [7:30pm ko].
The English safari concludes with a game at Aldershot Town FC on Saturday, July 16, [3:00pm ko].
Back home, we play at Buckie Thistle on Tuesday, July 19, [7:30pm ko] in aid of charities associated with five year old brain tumour victim Daniel Strong.
