Gregory Tade is taking French leave from Raith Rovers to join Caley Jags for the new campaign.
Raith Rovers hitman Gregory Tade has confirmed that he will be playing for Caley Thistle next season.
Gregory, 24, will become the second French player to play for the team and says he turned down offers from St Johnstone and Dunfermline to come to Inverness.
The big fellow --- he is 6 feet one inch tall -- showed up well against Caley Jags in duels with Raith in the First Division and he has agreed to pen a one-year deal with the option of a second year.
"I believe I'm going to the right club and I'm looking forward to testing myself at SPL level", says Gregory.
From Nantes, he came to Scotland five years ago, starting with Forfar Athletic before scoring 23 goals in 61 appearances for Stranraer. His move to Clyde aborted when that club had to free all its players because of its financial plight, and Raith Rovers moved in to land him.
He has scored 13 goals in 65 appearances for the Kirkcaldy club. He is the cousin of Armand One, now at Stranraer.
