New recruit Tom Aldred (right) helped model the new away strip which has just been launched
Caley Thistle's new defender Tom Aldred, on loan from Watford for six months, helped model the club's new away strip today. The Englishman could make his debut when Terry Butcher's troops play their first match against neighbours Clach at Grant Street Park on Monday.
The new white away strip, with black sleeves and red and blue trim, has been delivered by Errea after Caley Jags fans Ann and Fraser Mills of Inverness won a competition to fly to the Parma factory to see the first shirts roll off the production line.
"New strip, new era", said manager Terry Butcher, "and we hope they sell well." The strips go on sale from 10 am on Saturday from the club shop and online at www.ictfc.com and Ann Mills said:"From a fan's eye view, I'm sure they're a winner."
Skipper Richie Foran and longest serving player Ross Tokely gave Aldred backup in modelling the shirts.
