Aberdeen overcame Dundee Utd to increase more pressure on ex-Inverness manager Craig Brewster. Mackie and Nicolson 2 was enough to secure a 3-1 for the Dons. Robson scored for Utd. Celtic narrowly beat Motherwell by 2 goals to 1. Zurawski and an own goal were just enough for the 3pts for the league leaders. McDonald scored for the Well. Kilmarnock stunned Hearts at Tynecastle with goals from Invincible and Wales giving Killie an unlikely win. The drama however occurred at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium. Falkirk went 2-0 up with a double from Anthony Stokes but an inspired half time team talk from Christie gave the Highlanders a lift with Dargo scoring on 70 mins. With 8 mins left Rankin scored his first ever goal for the club with a well placed freekick. He did the same 4 minutes later to give Caley Thistle an astonishing comeback to sneck the 3pts. Inverness CT are now 6 games unbeaten and in 5th. On Sunday another 3-2 scoreline in the match between St Mirren and Rangers. Rangers managed to pick themselves up after last weeks home defeat to Inverness with goals from Adam, Buffel and Novo. A Sutton double wasn’t enough for the Saints. On Monday, a comprehensive 4-0 victory for Hibs live on Setanta. Sproule, Benjelloun and a Killen double gave the caretaker manager Mark Proctor a chance of getting the job. After one round of matches, Celtic lead and Dundee Utd prop up the table. PLAYERS TO WATCH Ian Blacks replacement (ICT): Inverness will have to make at least one change to the starting line-up this week. Ian Black starts a two-game suspension and the competition for his place is tough. Russell Duncan has been made to give up his place to John Rankin this year and only made sub appearances in the SPL so far with two or three starts. He did well for us last season and he may get a chance this weekend. Liam Keogh is another hard working midfielder looking for chance on Saturday. Keogh has managed to come back from a lengthy injury spell to be in contention again. However, my guess is Richie Hart. The ex Ross County man came on as a sub last week and made a tremendous impact on the game. A player who has pace and a shot to trouble any keeper from distance. It’s good to see the healthy back up for just one place in the team but it is up to Charlie who gets it. Another option could be moving McBain into the middle and putting Morgan on the left but I think Hart will get the nod. Ross Tokely (ICT): We are playing St Mirren. Enough said. John Sutton (St Mirren): The brother of Chris Sutton has started to find his scoring boots in the SPL. He managed to score two goals last week against Rangers at home. His tally currently stands at 6 goals and will be looking to add to it this weekend against Inverness CT.
