I take it the Highland Soccer Academy is no longer an option. Who actually funded it and why was it built where it was and not in a area where more would benefit. Good result today, but still a sore one to think of the points we have dropped against the bottom club.

Soon have more coaching staff than players, quite bizarre really. Shudder to think how much the wage bill for manager, interim manager and coaches must be now.

Not sure what were you watching, could still be playing now and we still wouldnt score.

Really, you think Keatings wouldnt have brought anything to the game tonight. If he's not injured he should have been involved regardless who he has signed a pre contract with. Will it be the same next week, FFS we can hardly afford to keep a good player on the bench.

Carson good, the rest for FFS ,devoid of any confidence. What's with Keatings he's still a Caley player who pay his wages, no excuse for him not being involved tonight. Really start to worry now. Pretty threadbare squad.

Carson looking a natural at full back ,other than that most seem to be lacking confidence to take the game on.

How about bringing Davie Roberston back into Scottish football, entertaining if nothing else.

I think Richie Foran even now ,10 years on, would be a massive improvement on the duffers we have upfront at the moment.

Top four or not, we should still be able to offer a lot more, than the utter dross I have witnessed over the last couple of weeks.

Absolutely agree, time for some hard truths as how we plan to move forward.

Absolutely no comparison to Forans season, for all his naivety and faults at least we gave it a go until the last match.

Were things any better before McCann came in , that's very debatable.

We cannot continually complain about our financial situation when for the last 25 years the best income we generated was £500k for Ryan Christie .Other than that I'm struggling, to name any others. That is no way a good return on the top players that have left us over the years. Appreciate good contracts cost money ,but longer term they may have reaped the rewards in a decent transfer fee coming back into the club.

Oh FFS this has been going on for years it's not a recent problem. No one can realistically argue that we have been successful in the transfer market. If this was any other business we would have folded years ago, losing your best assets to your rivals for below their worth is suicide. We need to generate an income, other than season tickets sales and stop continually whining about our financial woes.

Neil McCann on Football Focus saying today he hoped to reach the play offs and hand the club back to JR. What play offs was he talking about ?- 111 replies

Difference being they obviously saw potential and tied him to a contract that obviously paid dividends. Cannot remember the last player other than Christie we did the same. To survive we need to generate an income from selling on players.
-
Not sure we got anywhere near the true worth for Donaldson and McCart. Not when you consider RC got a 'significant' undis closed sum for their fullback to Coventry.
-
The very big problem we have had since forever, is how we have mis managed our saleable assets. Appreciate finances have been tight to offer long term contracts but FFS we lose every single player for nothing. Not talking megabuck transfer fees here, 50k or 75k for the likes of Shaun Rooney or McCart, Donaldson would bring much needed cash in. That is the reason this club is constantly strapped as other than fans through the gate, income is next to zero. Need to do much better and look at comparative clubs like Livi ,Hamilton etc who play the contract game so much better than us.

Neil McCann is taking a massive personal gamble and fair play to him for stepping in. Cannot be easy coming into manage a small established squad, some of whom he probably doesnt even rate. If it goes horribly wrong, his managerial reputation could take a right pasting. Not that this is going to happen, pretty confident top four is achievable with the group of players he has to work with.

Expected more from Sutherland but also Storey both completely faded after the first 20 mins. Liked the look of Duffy could be a real find also Allardice.
