Pocket-Size Fixture Cards
Im sure i got one when i renewed my season ticket last year. Didnt get one this year though, havent heard if theyre doing them again. I hope they are, very handy to have Considering the fixtures were only released a couple of weeks ago I'd like to think they're at the printers or distributors now. Certainly hope so!!

I completely agree, would love to see a player in the team who has a dangerous set-piece, adds more scoring potential It all seems to have gone quiet with him, last i heard Dundee were buying him, any word on whats going on with him?

Trialists
Either that or all his previous clubs quickly realised he was a dud! You may well be right, given his injury history that would seem a fair assumption

Trialists
;) Thats why i put fairly ;) he does seem to have been injured a lot which doesnt sounds too good. Looks like he has itchy feet by the amount of clubs he's had at 24!!

new signings?
The Inverness Courier and The sun are both now reporting that Duff is no longer a target Sounds like he can play anywhere across the front line. Old fashioned attacker i guess. He can play with either foot which adds an extra dimension to his play

Trialists
As well as the current trialists (Darren Lough, Andrew Milne and Callum Morris) we have training with us is 24 year old Samuel Oji, who arrived yesterday, he is an ex-Arsenal centre half, here is his wiki page which should be fairly accurate. The Inverness Courier reports Butcher wanted to sign him when he was at Motherwell but that a deal couldnt be arranged at that time.

I read an article somewhere saying that Blumstein hits a cracking free kick, scored an absolute belter last year in a trial match I think the problem with our throw ins last year was that we were too slow. Too often by the time we were ready to throw the ball we had waited too long and the opposition had time to mark our players

I think the reason he stopped taking them was cause it dragged him way too far out of position. Would be happy with wide players taking quick throws before the opposition gets a chance to mark our players. Grant has to be admired for his commitment and loyalty, has been a great servant to the club and hopefully will be for a fair few years to come

new signings?
Theres a slightly contrasting story in the Highland News, it says Duff has once again been linked with a move although it mentions that he may be playing a waiting game to see if Aberdeen offer him a new deal

1st Division winners medals
Now there's quite a different wee snippet about this in today's Daily Mail. I can't find the link so I'll just have to type it out: Hamilton striker Dougie Imrie last night turned his back on a First Division title medal as he set his sights on success with Accies instead. Imrie qualifies for a winners' gong after making 13 league appearances for title-winners Inverness CT last season before heading on loan to New Douglas Park. But the 26 yr old insists he is focused solely on helping Billy Reid's side to build upon their seventh-place finish in last season's SPL and believes Hamilton can also satisfy his ambitions of reaching a major cup final. He said, 'I'm not too bothered about a First Division medal because I wasn't there when Inverness went on their great run to win the league. And I'd like to think Hamilton can achieve some success this season.' Didnt see that one, puts a different slant on the issue. Looks like selective quoting from some journalists. The whole thing is probably a non-story anyway. If he didnt want one in the first place then there isnt really a story and looks to me like they were struggling to fill column inches. If he's not bothered about a first division winners medal with us this time then maybe he can win one with Hamilton in the next few years :)

Should vuvuzelas be banned in the SPL?
Well not in the strictest sense but more noise usually leads to a better atmosphere

Score Board
I personally dont see any need for a scoreboard, would much rather the funds ploughed into wages or buying players

new signings?
Really? He said last week he wasn't looking at him. Mayb'e he has changed his mind. Its just a small article, no link unfortunately, entitled 'Butchers hopeful of doing Duff Deal' The jist of the article is: Former Aberdeen and Dundee united utility man Stuart Duff could be handed an SPL lifeline by newly-promoted Inverness...........Butcher, who worked with Duff as a youngster at Tannadice, signed him on a short-term loan last season and is now hoping to take him to the Highlands on a permanent basis.

I think they would probably generate some atmosphere but i see it as being a fad and would more than likely be forgotten about within weeks/months. However it raises health and safety issues, if your not allowed into certain stadia with plastic bottles, cans, flag poles etc surely a vuvuzela would be deemed dangerous by health and saftey officials?

1st Division winners medals
I have noticed an article in the paper today about Dougie Imrie and it raises an interesting point about players that leave in the January transfer window. Should Imrie get a medal for making 16 appearances for us last season? Regardless of whether he gets one or not it is pleasing to see that he is glad to see us back in the SPL and that there is no animosity between the player and the club. I know that a lot of fans on here lost backing for him after his sending off in the challenge cup final however i always thought Imrie was a decent player to have in the squad. He always gave 110% for us and was an exciting player (although a little temperamental/erratic/frustrating at times) but his potential was evident and i think his performances for Hamilton in the latter part of last season where he won several MoMs and many plaudits backs this up. So should he get one or not? IMO yes, he played a substantial part of the season so deserves one

new signings?
Todays Daily Express has a story saying that Butcher is keen to take Stuart Duff back here on a permanent deal.
