  1. Yeh looks as if some local neds of unspesified football loyalty   themselves have decided to have a go at a couple of well known lads from the Republic of Ireland. I think Ritchie has been very restreined in this incident which would never have happened had it not been for these neds hellbent on provoking and asaulting Ritchie. Its the neds who should have been arested not Ritchie.

  2. Any idea how many we've sold so far?

Hearing Aberdeen have sold their initial allocation of 37k which is quite remarkable, can see the piggery being turned into a sea of red as they appear to be asking for more tickets

Don't want to be too negative but can't help but think with backing like that they will start on the front foot

    Dougal

We have beaten Rangers and Celtic away in the passt with a much bigger inbalance of fans than there will be at this final so its not as we havent been here before. And Im quite happy to take the same share of the gate as Aberdeen.

  4. I think that complaints about the semi final were ligitamate but moaning now about Celtic Park at 230 on a Sunday is just taking it a bit far. It has to be Ibrox or Celtic Park to fit everybody in so does the difference in capacity really matter that much? And when your taking maybe 10000 fans to a final does the timing of one beaten up old sprinter train really matter that much either? Its a drop in the ocean. I would hope that their would be at least one special train leaving maybe 9ish and lots of other travel options. Glasgow for 230 in the spring is very different from Edinburgh 1215 in the dead of winter. I think that we will do our cause no good at all if we keep moaning about each and every arrangment thats made.

  5. Like it or lump it foran signing a new deal at 34 whist there was no manager in place stinks. Surely the new manager should have given it his blessing ! I've seen this before in football when a c,man interferes in team matters and it all goes pear shape .

Eagle. Are you Dougal in disguize?

Between Paul Hartley and John Hartson i would say. Hopefully find out tomorrow!

I hear Paul Hartley has pulled out due to contractural issues -interesting now who it will be :-)

    link/source???

A businessman who is close to a director in inverness -Hartley is no longer a candidate.

So will that "businesman" be the same person that told the Sun that Brewster was among the favorites or is he jonny95 who got the whole story when he visited the ticket office a few days ago?

  7. Someone i know was at the ticket office today and they said it's down to the final two and they wouldn't be surprised if the manager is announced on monday

Well there you go. Thats what weve been waiting about 3 weeks and 1020 posts to here. Who needs an anouncement from the club if someone you know has been at the ticket office. :amazed:

Shows how far we have come that the ex Scotland manager is now being heavily linked with us.

Craig Brown was after the job when Brewster got it the first time round (I think).

A big no from me though.

The man is 73 years old!!

  9. A narcissist would look to keeping this going for as long as possible. I would suspect that a statement would be most effectively timed to hit the press on Friday - therefore ensuring that the ensuing euphoria has at least 24 hours to rise to a crescendo at Easter Road on Saturday. TB could be the ultimate ICT icon by Saturday afternoon and will soak in the tumultuous response to his final whistle rendition.

Immortal Howden Ender - this is getting very, very boring.

  10. The other clearly aggrieved gentleman had removed a flag without request and when asked what he was doing had stormed off like a petulant child up into the stand. I followed him and asked why he had stolen an item of property that did not belong to him.

I asked if he would like to move to the side of the stand and have a reasonable conversation out of the way of those around us which he refused to do.

I then asked to have our property returned as he had no right to take something belonging to another person, which he refused to do.  He then proceeded to rant about how offensive the 'union jack' is in Scotland

Was he a sort of "well made" lad with a double chin a smug grin and a saltire lapel badge by any chance?

  11. Why is such an obeese nation so obssesed by eating pies at a football match? For goodness sake your only at the ground for a couple of hours so if the queues are too long, do your body mass index a favour and dont bother.

Look at it another way. Going to football costs about 20 - 30p a minute. So why spend a large part of the game standing in a pie queue and very possibly missing a goal into the bargain?

Maybe we need a well respected  player from yesteryear saying how well ICT are doing and encouraging people to come along who haven't watched a game for a while on MFR,

But you cant watch a game on MFR. Its only a radio station.
